I have yet to watch it, I've had the collectors edition on my shelf for like 3 years, has yet to be opened.
Slowest boring movie ever.
Your name is Dr. Strangelove, if you cannot stand the slow pace of this movie, how could you have stood Dr. Strangelove?
Slowest boring movie ever.
I know it's opinion, but if you don't appreciate this film you don't appreciate the medium.
I don't understand what's so great about this movie. I found it incredibly slow and boring.
I have to contradict you all. This film is a masterpeice of cinema. Bladerunner is the classic, awesome 80's film. Based on a Philip K Dick novel it truly explores the ideas of androids and a dystopic future for all.
I've always wondered why they bothered to give the androids free will in the first place. Maybe it's explained more in the novel or something, but if they didn't grant them free will, then they wouldn't escape and kill everyone. Maybe it's just a default thing or something.

Scum of the earth, Machines shouldnt have souls.
Very unique cool timeless movie from the 80s. Stunning.
I loved this movie absolutely. I loved the ending as well: [sp]"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die." [/sp]
One of my favorite science fiction film ever, the ending is just really great.

Ridley Scott is god.
Fucking love the dove. My favorite character by far.

I dont recommend you watch alien or aliens if you cant even get blade runner. It is an intense movie, many of the legendary movies are intense. Just sit and watch with an open mind instead of thinking of waiting to see something to happen.

I have no idea how people find this movie slow. There are a couple of scenes that are slow paced, but everything about the movie is so phenomenal that even the slow scenes are riveting. Overall, though, it's a really intense movie. The last 10 minutes is pretty terrifying the first time you watch it.
I feel that the movie is over-rated. While the story isn't bad I feel as though it was fleshed out anywhere near as well as it could have been. This movies saving grace is the feel of it. This movie has atmosphere, you are drowned in the smog of a future LA. Despite not caring for the story the setting itself allows me to enjoy this movie.
I watched this movie back when I was a kid and I hardly understood it :/ I'm currently reading the book and I love it so far! Once I'm done, I'll watch the movie again :D
I personally see this as one of the greatest movies ever.
While I think it's pretty overrated (in the nerd crowd), it's still an excellent movie.
Any chance of a brief plotline?
Huh, it's amazing how little I care.
Should watch Alien though, great movie. :mmmhmm:
Fantastic movie. Watched in in a film study class in High School, and now it's probably in my top 5 favorite science fiction movies.

I hated that Harrison Ford basically rapes the android in the Theatrical Version, which really didn't make much sense. The Final Cut is much better in my opinion, as they fixed all that. Regardless, it's an incredible movie.
Loved this movie when I first saw this.
