In which part? If I remember correctly, there's a MK.82 somewhere in there, as well as assorted artillery shells.

Its a movie about a fucking bomb squad, there are tons of them in it.
Wich ones do you mean?
You mean the name of the bombs they defused? Those are called I.E.D's or Improvised Explosive Device.
he wants to build them so he can blow up his school
Just doing an all around cover about bombs and these ones were pretty awesome, not just any ordinary explosives but they let go a wave full of pressure which is exploding everything as was seen in the movie.
The kind that get you on watch lists for explaining how to make.
But the kind that anyone with copies of certain books, the internet, or alot of free time and some old machines could make at home.
They're either IEDs or left over bombs from stockpiles.
C4
Hurt locker was such a good movie.
I felt like joining the army, then I was just like "nah, fuck it." and played some MW2.

There's a type of bomb called a Daisy Cutter which release a shockwave that destroys large areas.
A lot of them were 155mm shells I believe
Freedom shells.
Big concrete balloons filled with explody stuff and some wires.
I'm guessing the actual ones used in Hurt Locker were fake.

This is what all explosives do. They only errupt in huge fire balls in cliché hollywood blockbusters, because the Special effects teams light up gasoline.
In Hurt Locker, they displayed what an actual bomb does, it kills with a powerfull blastwave, shrapnell and only after that, dust and debris create huge clouds.
There were lots of bombs in the movie. Some were IED's made from mortar shells, others weren't even on screen, if I remember correctly
