Jerry Seinfeld’s “secret project” — the one he alluded to during a Reddit AMA earlier this month — is in fact a reunion of “Seinfeld,” the comedian said today.
Appearing on the “Boomer & Carton” radio show on WFAN on Thursday morning, Seinfeld answered a barrage of questions centered around a photo taken on Jan. 13 of Seinfeld with Jason Alexander, walking into the diner that served as a backdrop for many a “Seinfeld” episode.
Seinfeld said the project was not a commercial or an episode of his hit Web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” and while he would not give away much in the way of details, he did say that Alexander was playing his George Costanza character and that other “Seinfeld” characters were involved.
He described the project as “short-ish form,” a “one-and-done” thing involving Larry David in some way that will be made available “very, very soon.”
Eh, Seinfeld did it first.
The person at the front of the picture looks very badly photoshopped in
Why does reddit get so many famous people on its board?

IAMA is an easy and effective way to reach a LOT of people. Some celebrities will plug upcoming projects or charities as part of it, but will also answer other miscellaneous questions. There was a damn good one by George Clooney the other day.

Basically because it's very well known and very bland, i.e. the user base isn't really known for being extremists or dicks, and if they are they can just say 'Oh they're members of subreddit x'
I think that the show could be picked up again for a season, society's changed a lot since then and there's a whole bunch of new little things to poke fun at.
this will obviously have to be the new opening theme

Subreddit x sounds like some kind of top secret elite subreddit.

Because it doesn't really get bad publicity other then the tons of subreddits about jailbait and generally terrible stuff.

Although sometimes it backfires on celebs, e.g. Woody Harrelson

Something similar happened with the Morgan Freeman AMA. It smelled like a fake PR rep pretending to be Morgan Freeman and promoting the Oblivion movie. Here was the "proof" that it was Morgan Freeman:
