Shame, it looked promising with the dynamic cover and stuff. I can't believe they stopped because of its controversial theme.
They should have just spent a little bit of cash changing it around and just making it a shooter.
Remove the whole theme.
Lets hope they release what they had to the public. They were near completion no doubt the community can make something out of it yet.
I blame Konami.
I thought this was already known.
damn, this game looked good
Good job konami...
1. Taking away a game I was looking forward too.
2. Making families worry about supporting themselves.
God forbid we make any game related to a real-life conflict.
At least there aren't any WWII or Vietnam games.

Or even worse, modern warfare games.

Where was the controversy when Insurgency was released?
Where was the controversy when Insurgency was released?
Insurgency wasn't a high profile game release, and it wasn't based on a real event in which many died and were wounded.
This is one of those few cases where offense is perfectly reasonable, not like the Mass Effect bullshit, this is something that only happened 5 years ago, the families of those who died have every reason to not be happy with people profiteering from the conflict that resulted in the deaths of their family/friends. It's also a fucking stupid idea on the developers part to reveal that they interviewed Insurgents, like it's a fucking selling point.

ITT: Turbis is sad because he wanted to try the "Epic" cover mecanics.
