New Back to the Future comic series tries to bring back Eric Stoltz as McFly

[quote](...) You're likely aware that Eric Stoltz was actually cast as Marty McFly before Michael J. Fox gave life to the role in Back to the Future. (..) To make things harder, Melora Hardin was originally cast as Marty's girlfriend, Jennifer. With Fox on board, it was painfully decided she was too tall for the role. Producer Bob Gale has stated letting her go was one of the hardest things he had to do.
Now a comic miniseries will address trying to actually change the past.
BACK TO BACK TO THE FUTURE is a six-issue series written by David Guy Levy. The story deals with Bob Gale and Melora Hardin accidentally going back in time where they make it that Stoltz doesn't get recast.

Looks awesome, and that's not a lot of money either.
I'll bite.
If this turns into a movie series with Doc Brown, I'll be happy.
Sweet! Always love to see new content about my favorite movie series!
Really though, the story should be an interesting read... Eric Stoltz did do some shots for the movie before they switch to Micheal J. Fox:

I think they made the right choice
I read the first two issues (yay, free comics!) and so far it's pretty interesting. Clearly targeted toward a more mature audience than the movies, which is smart of course, since the majority of the fans are most likely adults now. I'm looking forward to where the story is going, since in the first two issues [sp]Bob and Melora have already been to the past and come back, so I'm hoping we'll start following their younger selves and the movie production in the next part.[/sp]
Where can I get the issues from? I actually forgot to ask.

Two issues are up on Facebook, the third free issue and the last three not-free issues will be available on the website on July 10th.
Well I just started playing the BTTF game that TellTale put out awhile back so I guess I might as well go even further to scratch my time travel itch.
