"Expanding the network of Peapod Adobe Youth Voices academies enables us to pay it forward, giving more youth the skills and encouragement they need to realize their dreams."
The academy will be housed in a facility operated by Urban Arts Partnership, which runs after-school arts programs for teens who attend high-poverty schools.
Students will be accepted into the academy based on recommendations from teachers and demonstrated interests in subject areas such as camera work, editing and graphic design.[/quote]

this is a good thing you bell-end, the US is already hopelessly behind when it comes to music academies and with many places having music programs on the cut list the more of these there are the better

Agreed, a lot of the cultural arts are being cut for things like science and math...just like the fifties. But not in a beneficial way, I mean a "SHIT WE'RE OUTTA MONEY! NO MORE DRAMA CLUB!"
Hey Im all for more Music Academies but preferably by somebody who can actually make music and not shit.
