Someone sent me this and I thought it was fucking amazing. Truly we live in the golden age Some of the videos aren't in English sadly
one step closer to humanity's ascension into pure 2D beings
this channel has 86k subscribers what the hell? it even has a twitter too aaaaaaa
what a time to be alive.
Everyday we stray further from god's light
How far does her Artificial Intelligence actually go? Is it possible that she'll eventually become self aware and start sending death threats to Pewdiepie?
How much is the human factor in this videos? Also, what's the text in the first one saying? Whoever made the english subtitles just gave up on translating it.
is it actually an ai? to me it just seems whoever's voice acting is just using a full-body rig with a kinect
And we're just now finding out about this? If everything in these videos really was generated by an AI, I'm quite impressed.
How much is the human factor in this videos? Also, what's the text in the first one saying? I think it's just a person strapping a voice-actor on a mo-cap as they do stuff.
When are we ganna get esports played and narrated by Anime schoolgirl AIs?
This isn't an AI, this is a voice actor with a mocap 3D avatar. Wow what a time to be alive!!!
When are we ganna get esports played and narrated by Anime schoolgirl AIs?
hopefully never. humanity still has a chance with the japanese slowly dying out with their population decline :v:
Nice to meet you! *does retarded dolphin pose* [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/OBhzTIm.png[/thumb]
This is amazing.
Pretty sure they are using FaceRig Live2D for the character.
Pretty sure they are using FaceRig Live2D for the character.
I get that part but where exactly is the ai being implemented? is it the one playing the games?
I get that part but where exactly is the ai being implemented? is it the one playing the games?
Like I said, there is no AI, other than the one in her name. This is just a combination of VR game streaming, a mocap avatar in the style of waifus/anime, and the multiple REAL people who are making money off of it. A REAL woman plays the game, they capture her motion and voice, and then play back the game play of the REAL person with the mocap model in the corner. This isn't complicated guys. TLDR, just because the name of the channel is "AI Channel" doesn't magically make her an AI.
is it actually an ai? to me it just seems whoever's voice acting is just using a full-body rig with a kinect
yeah it's most likely a real girl just using an anime gimmick she deserves the popularity due to the creativity alone, because this IS a pretty good idea and even without the anime girl thing, she seems fun

Just gonna throw this channel out here in regards to 'Virtual' Youtubers.
this channel is a lot of fun

Most of us can tell it's just a gimmick, it's not like we're gonna wake up one day and an ai that was impossible last week is gonna be playing superhot as an anime girl, it's just a bit of fun.
why do you sound like such a condescending asshole? He repeated what he said and this time he gave more of an explanation because apparently some people are having trouble realizing no actual AI is involved in this.
Because multiple people continue to ask where the AI is, after multiple other people have said it is fake. I just wanted to make it really clear. Admittedly the "this isn't complicated" part is a tad condescending but other than that I just laid things out really plainly for anyone who was still confused. You may understand it was fake but clearly other people didn't, regardless I really don't think I was being an asshole...
uhh as far as I've seen, she never even claims to be an AI she merely calls herself a 'virtual youtuber' the channel has A.I. in it because her name is Ai so it's 'fake' only due to your own silly assumptions
uhh as far as I've seen, she never even claims to be an AI she merely calls herself a 'virtual youtuber' the channel has A.I. in it because her name is Ai so it's 'fake' only due to your own silly assumptions
idk how you can say using A.I. as an acronym when her name is Ai as a not-acronym isn't supposed to mislead people into at least clicking on the video thinking it's supposed to be some kind of artificial intelligence shtick.
how did that at all come off as asshole-ish?
Ai (Japanese: in hiragana あい, in katakana アイ, in kanji 愛, 藍, 亜衣) is a Japanese feminine given name. It could mean love, affection (愛), or indigo (藍). The kanji 亜衣 is only associated as a proper noun, it could mean Asian clothes.
"Ai" the name is what I thought of first, not A.I. That's what Google gave me. I would just blame it on the language barrier.
