I almost couldn't hear what the narrators saying.
I was okay with Ed Edd and Eddy ending as it wrapped up nicely. Same could be said with Courage the Cowardly Dog, and even Samurai Jack.
All the other shows I loved though. I can still see Powerpuff Girls on Boomerang at 10 PM though :buddy:
Samurai Jack was never ended correctly was it ?
:smith:
That 11 minute video could have been 5 minutes long. And this guy mumbles his words and often pronounces them horribly wrong.
I hate it when people refer this as their whole childhood, I mean did you play with kids outside your age or only saw cartoons. Let it go, jesus christ it's not that serious, and yeah I grew up watching these cartoons, but if you're emotionally attached to them, then you need some type of mental help.
If you aren't, then you need mental help.
It's actually sadder cause it's all true :smith:
Samurai Jack was never ended correctly was it ?
Yeah, there's no ending, the voice actor that did Aku's voice died of cancer and they decided to stop there.
i'm happy that i get to see old cartoons before old this new shit came out
but i'm one of the only few among my friends who remember it
God I had to go watch the Toonami ending broadcast again. Still makes me stupidly sad.
is the crossed cartoons the cartoons that stopped airing?
[editline]29th December 2010[/editline]
i can barely hear the guy
I wouldn't mind the cancellation of old shows if the shows that replaced them were any good.
Adventure Time is about the only decent thing left on Cartoon Network...
A relaunching of all the old classics would be amazing. Dextar's Lab, powerpuff girls, Johnny Bravo, even Megas XLR! Even some of their newer shows weren't bad. Grim and Evil was such an interestingly, darkly humorous concept,
didnt grim and evil turned into The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy?
didnt grim and evil turned into The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy?
Split off into two series'.
Split off into two series'.
i miss Evil Con Came and Billy and Mandy
I don't, the show was tasteless.
Fuck CN, what have they been smoking?
DItching all the best for some stupid shit to come instead..
I remember when i was smaller, watching this wherever people had sat tv..
Courage the Cowardly Dog ended well at least.
Remembrance of Courage Past: After Courage sees a list of missing dogs, a flashback appears showing how Courage's parents got sent into outer space by an evil vet. Muriel and Eustace take Courage to the same vet to get him checked out. But the vet plans to send Muriel and Eustace to outer space. Luckily, Courage comes up with a plan. He runs to the control board and opens the door so Eustace and Muriel can get out of the rocket, and traps the vet in and launches the rocket. When the vet lands on the same planet as Courage's parents and a group of other dogs, all of the dogs attack him
Perfect: When Courage can't do anything right, an old teacher approaches him, and decides to train him strictly into becoming a perfect dog.
Note: The Series ends with Courage being perfect the way he is.

It became quite tasteless in my opinion. Started off focusing mainly on the concept of The Grim Reaper being a nice guy, and the deconstruction of many classical myths and concepts surrounding superstition and the paranormal, but it devolved into "LOOK BILLY DID SOMETHING REALLY GROSS AND STUPID AND MANDY DID SOMETHING MEAN!"
yeah i see that
As much as I would love to watch cartoon network with all the old shows, they do need to appeal to their new audience (ie not us)

Actually, they have begun to show Dexter's Lab reruns in the mornings. They still show Tom and Jerry around noon.
Not sure what else. I think a friend of mine said he saw Powerpuff Girls around the same early time that they were showing Dexter.
I still watch Courage the cowardly dog episodes online :v:
I didn't know the CEO resigned over the LED Bomb Scare from the Adult Swim guys.
Why?
It's not just CN, evertything on TV sucks nowadays.
Can't we just be happy that CN kicked ass when we were kids?
