I think the idea of giving Master Chief a change from "mostly silent protagonist" and take him, as they said, "out of his comfort" zone is a good idea, but there is a great room for error. I hope 343 approached the idea with caution and pulled it off right.
So glad that the release falls on election day in the United States.
Means I don't have to cut school to take off and play. November 6th needs to hurry up and get here.

I like the idea, but when he said something along the lines of "we can take you back to earth and [name] can fix this", I kinda cringed a little. The delivery seemed kinda off, and I hope it wasn't a final recording.
Don't know why, but this video took away a lot of skepticism I had about Halo 4. The story looks great, but even if it isn't, the gameplay doesn't look bad.
This is a very good step in the right direction for the new trilogy. I was already looking forward to playing this with friends but knowing they're taking the SP a lot more serious is a big plus.

I love Halo, it's such a neat storyline compared to most "Omg russia is bad fight usa go go yay boom".
It's not about if one side wins the day or if a place gets blown to smithereens. Its about whether or not an entire [I]species[/I] continues to exist.
Halo is the only reason I still own a 360, otherwise I'd of traded it for a PS3 or a new video card ages ago.

I actually really like the new mjolnir set, I like how unremarkable and neutral it looks. It completely fits with their goal of exploring the human side of a spartan.
Something about Cortana's eyes bother me, they seem to look too real compared to the rest of her.
The only skepticism I still have about this is the Covenant being the enemy again.

I was really surprised with the sudden change of the plotline, it's fresh and a lot more different from the other games. I'm definitely buying this instead of Black ops 2.
The logo for Halo 4 bothers me...the 4 is larger font size than "HALO" and it just looks weird.
It's my biggest gripe about the game.
That and I don't have an Xbox 360 anymore
I feel like this game may actually live up to its hype.
