That's a gorgeous model, and the design is phenomenal.
Now if resin casting wasn't so expensive...
Nice as hell, but did I miss where he painted and finished the face?
Holy shit. The fact that it was done in a day is amazing. I wish I was that good with my Gundam models.

38:45 or thereabouts.
Watching him prime that base without a mask on as the vapor flew back into his face made my chest hurt.
papa bear teaching young pup on model building.

Even just airbrushing without a spray booth or extra fan. That man has lungs of steel.
e: Aaaah not washing off the release agent, but his priming technique makes me moist
I pretty much grew up watching adam on mythbusters, so it's still jarring hearing him say "fuck"
This is my favorite youtube channel ever. I wish there was more "raw passion builds done by pros" stuff out there

This shit is the reason why I watched mythbusters in the first place. It was all about the process of creation by two dudes who loved making shit. Then the trio came in and after a while it was just shitty puns and jump cuts that edit out the builds themselves :T

Adam: *Thelma and Louise story* And there's like lamps in their LAPS lighting up their faces, it's hilarious!
Norm: e--eighty's sitcom...
Adam: Ex-exactly...
I wish I had the patience to make model kits.
Damn even Norms kit turned out pretty sweet.

pretty sure that workshop has a good airflow
Great watch that, this is one legendary workshop.
I would love to have a workshop like that and not have to worry about going to work so I can just hang out there all day and build whatever the hell I want.

Just watched the whole thing. That model is fucking beautiful, but I feel like the helmet is way too big. Also feel like Adam should have painted it in-theme with the rest of his style. Mirror-sheen white doesn't really mix all too well with gritty gold/yellow IMO.
Still good, nonetheless.
i think the helmet is supposed to fold over his face, idk though. I don't know the story behind it.
Damn this makes me wanna model.

No shit. No matter what crops up, Hey I've got a tool for that, and I know exactly where the fuck it is BAM here.
That helmet looks so stupid. It's waaay too big imo.
that's the charm
