Not going to happen anytime soon, even though the ad is really good.
Placing in recycle bin = uninstalling.
IE9 is actually good from what I've heard. It's just that E logo is so god awful and the interface is terrible, chrome or firefox are still my favourite choices.
Placing in recycle bin = uninstalling.
they dont actually want to show people how to uninstall it
I still don't like IE very much :v:
Yeah, I'm not leaving Firefox/Chrome any time soon.
haha that's the funniest thing I've seen all week. anyhow, I might check it out, may look nice on 8.

I thought this would be about sparkbrowser.
That cat looks pissed off.
Last week, some not so techsavy persons gave me their computer to make it go faster. I shamefully switched their browser to firefox under the name internet explorer with logo.
That ad does nothing to convince me of anything useful.
Yeah thanks, but i'll stay with my browser.
Placing in recycle bin = uninstalling.
With that level of technical savvy behind IE it's no wonder it's always been shit.
I actually have been problems with Firefox recently, and when I made the switch to Internet Explorer 9, I felt a whole lot better about my internet web browsing experience!

Chrome on my phone and desktop is amazing, shared tabs and bookmarks!
IE9 is actually good from what I've heard. It's just that E logo is so god awful and the interface is terrible, chrome or firefox are still my favourite choices.
IE9 actually has a really nice interface to me. Similar to Chrome's and better than Firefox's imo.
This ad has inspired me to download IE9.
With that level of technical savvy behind IE it's no wonder it's always been shit.
Well the majority of people these days screaming how shit it is are on about that level of technical savvyness.
They're not instilling me with a lot of confidence in their product by telling me that "It -WAS- garbage, but so totally isn't anymore, we swear!"
IE9 actually has a really nice interface to me. Similar to Chrome's and better than Firefox's imo.
I'll be honest with you. The interface is probably the reason that IE9 is my favorite version. (But IE is STILL one of my least favorite browsers though.)
All you have to do with most people is get rid of the icon and they'll never use the program again. It's about time they've improved IE, it's lagged behind for years.
They're not instilling me with a lot of confidence in their product by telling me that "It -WAS- garbage, but so totally isn't anymore, we swear!"
Better to admit your mistakes than blindly trying to defend them despite overwhelming evidence.
Better to admit your mistakes than blindly trying to defend them despite overwhelming evidence.
Very good point.
Hm, I didn't know you can uninstall programs by dragging their shortcuts to the recycling bin...
Firefox isn't that great anymore. All the other browser have caught on to the magic. I use firefox and I'm getting kind of sick of it tbh.
Placing in recycle bin = uninstalling.
Because even though you got rid of your shortcut, and installed another browser, shit will still open up in IE because it's still their default browser, but they will think they're using Firefox now, Win-Win!
Because even though you got rid of your shortcut, and installed another browser, shit will still open up in IE because it's still their default browser, but they will think they're using Firefox now, Win-Win!
What do you mean? If you open Firefox without it being the default browser it pops up a window pestering you to make it default. All you have to do is open Firefox once, and I see little reason for someone to install a browser if they aren't going to double click the icon to test it out at least once. On a side note: Are there any websites that give a good comparison between the browsers? I've been using Firefox for so many years. I've completely forgotten why I even switched from IE in the first place(I can't remember why I thought it was shit). Now, I want to re-evaluate my browser choice and see if Firefox is still right for me.

Loot at my user-agent for another browser suggestion, though it IS a acquired taste.
