This game is turning out to be a complete blunder.
The Flash visits a lot of the dialogue option scenes. i spotted him three times; blink and you'll miss him.

Why are there so many people surprised by the Krogan's voice? The other female Krogan we've seen, Eve, had a very similar voice. Just because the males have deep, guttural voices doesn't mean the females will too.

They have yet to explain why krogans were even allowed on board (doubt they wanted to figure out a reason), but [sp]being in stasis somehow mutated them and increased their resistance to the Genophage and it makes no fucking sense who wrote this shit[/sp]

Krogan females are protected from other Krogan clans, because the other clans would steal them to bolster their ranks. Clan Nakmor sent a fairly substantial number of their members on the Andromeda Initiative, which would logically include females if you don't want the species to die out in a generation.

The reason is simple, if you need a soldier who can fire a gun well enough and take a lot of damage you won't get better than a Krogan. Humans and Turians are probably more effective strategically but having a few hundred Krogan to bum rush an enemy is a distinct advantage.

But why the fuck would the Andromeda initiative even accept Krogans when they'd literally be the worst liability you could possibly take with you
They breed like rabbits when the genophage isn't fucking them over, they're warring assholes, and they constantly bicker
That's the kind of people you don't want onboard a colonial mission to a brave new world because at the slightest bit of tension these idiots would escalate it to all out war with a whole fucking galaxy

Which has proven to be a terrible fucking idea when the Krogan turned on the Salarians and the Turians and started causing so much shit to go wrong 99% of the species had to be neutered.

I didn't say it was a good idea, I just gave a reason as to why you'd want Krogan onboard. The entire Andromeda Initiative is an ass pull so the developers can escape the shit show that is Mass Effect 3's ending. For one, how would you convince the Asari to leave the Milky Way? They're so set in their ways they laughed Matriarch Aethyta off Thesia because she suggested the make new mass relays to explore the galaxy.

Well it's not like you can up and build a mass relay in ME universe. They have to be affected by some kind of quantum stabilization to sit in the same places and I don't think any of the Citadel races can do something like that.
There're many billions of asari anyway, I don't think it would be that hard to find some 10-20 thousand ones who are willing to go on an adventure. Seems kind of plausible to me. At least way more plausible than krogans.
