An oil rig has exploded 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana, with 12 people overboard and one missing, the Coast Guard said Thursday morning.
Rescue attempts are underway for at least 12 people, Coast Guard spokesman John Edwards told CNN. 13 people were on board the rig total, Edwards said, noting 12 have been accounted for, but one person was missing.
The accident took place 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana on the Vermilion Oil rig 380, which is owned by Houston-based Mariner Energy.
The Coast Guard has multiple helicopters, an airplane and several Coast Guard cutters en route. It's unknown if there are any injuries.
Race has nothing to do with it.
I was reffering to the fact that the last rig was Made and Korea and was operated by American but yet Obama still called it British Petroleum fault

...It was BP's fault.

That kind of was completely BP's fault
But apparently, this oil rig wasn't producing anything, so at the time of the explosion, no oil might have been on deck, averting another spill.
I'm watching CNN now. All 13 people on board survived; 12 are fine, 1 injured.
...It was BP's fault.
But the rig was only owned, not operated or made by, so it's not really their fault also BP is also mostly owned by Americans
Everything happens in threes.
We are even closer to driving on seawater now.
Something about this accident smells fishy to me, and it's not the seawater.

Why do you hate BP so much?
I don't need to answer that one. Kinda obvious. Perhaps the same reason the rest of the world does?
Why do you hate BP so much?
Because their rig blew up, killed people, and ruined business's in the gulf?
Because their rig blew up, killed people, and ruined business's in the gulf?
This, and also trashed the gulf for a long time.
