Fox News anchor Shepard Smith defended CNN on Wednesday after Donald Trump accused the network of being “fake news” at a news conference for reporting on the existence of a Russian dossier of unverified allegations about the president-elect.
https://www.yahoo.com/tv/fox-news-defends-rival-cnn-against-donald-trump-213951823.html video in link
Just imagine it: the whole (news) world in peace, happily united against the president. This will be a wonderful decade for satirists, pundits, spin doctors, news anchors, and cartoonists alike!
Shepard Smith has always been awesome.
when fox news defends cnn from your statements, you're some kind of crazy.
As bad as the majority of the Fox News team is, I've always respected Shep Smith. He's one of the last few men in that cesspit who still has joirnalistic integrity.
Trump has always had problems with CNN making up fake, or buzzfeed type tropes for him just to garner attention. With the way the guy was speaking over Trump and interrupting him during the conference, I really can't blame Trump for being upset with the guy. He was rather rude. It could have been handled differently, sure, but it's Trump. You're gonna be stuck with him for 8 years.
You're gonna be stuck with him for 8 years.
since when did presidential terms get extended to 8 years
since when did presidential terms get extended to 8 years
it seems that Covalent may be implying that a president who has hit a historic low before being even in office may already deserve a 2nd term. makes you think
since when did presidential terms get extended to 8 years
if you believe the fascism accusations maybe trump will extend his term.
if you believe the fascism accusations maybe trump will extend his term.
trump's not an evil sinister mastermind, he's a narcissistic idiot If there's anyone to really be worried about, it's his followers
wait for bill Oriley to condemn both smith and CNN
since when did presidential terms get extended to 8 years
he's just saying that he knows he'll get reelected come 2020, which for some reason, yes, i could totally imagine america making the same mistake twice
CNN have been parroting on about fake news for a while now against Trump, what does he do? Brushes it aside and fires it back against them.
since when did presidential terms get extended to 8 years
It's pretty rare for a president to only serve one term, but I doubt Trump will serve 2
wait for bill Oriley to condemn both smith and CNN
O'Reilly is still one of the slightly more moderate ones. Hannity, on the other hand, that fucker's praising Trump right now.

I've got to hand it to Shepard Smith, this is pretty awesome. It takes guts to go against your network's political agenda by sticking your neck out like that. Shepard Smith has had a few such moments:

Not denying that he's a scumbag, he's just politically more moderate.
What will make the difference between a one- or two-term Trump administration is whether common people will come together and rise up to fight their common enemy, i.e. the oligarchs and the super-rich who control our political system and most of the media. If we don't take major steps to diffuse polarization in our politics or forge new alliances between trade unions, civil rights leaders, independent media, blacks and whites, etc., we may as well set our expectations for a second Trump term right now.

Nothing will ever be fixed so long as those fucks are free to divide us all for ratings.
When did CNN become the new Fox news? I'm really confused how CNN suddenly became the devil almost overnight.
Trump has always had problems with CNN making up fake, or buzzfeed type tropes for him just to garner attention.
Examples?
When did CNN become the new Fox news? They barely even mentioned Bernie Sanders when he was running, and iirc after Trump won, they admitted publicly that they regretted it. They fucked up big time, and put all their money on the wrong horse.

They had Sanders campaign personnel on their as much as anybody.
