Heard about this, sad but had to happen eventually.
:crying:

Still. Bad news, the Rover is next to go.
I was listening to the "From the wreckage" song from mass effect.
Poor thing :saddowns:
Once, it will rise from it's ashes, and get reborn as bigger, better spacecraft.
[sp]Because people lack imagination and Phoenix is obvious name.[/sp]
Well it had to happen, if it has moving parts it break eventually. Still a shame though.
The funny thing is; it's probably upside down in a hole somewhere.
Oh, whew, I thought that was Spirit. I almost freaked out. Darn NASA names getting me confused.
:( That's sad.
Everything has to break down eventually, even Spirit and Opportunity will stop functioning one of these days.
Where's that comic of the little robot/rover waiting for NASA to pick him up?

No! :ohdear: Not the rover comic, I always cry when they post the ro- rov- rover COMIIICCC WAAAHHHH!
But fuck, seriously, that is a sad comic.
rest in peace brotha
It's actually a good thing that the rovers aren't sentient, otherwise they'll feel real sad and depressed about not coming home, even moreso than we possibly could. But they'll probably go ahead and make a sentient rover one day, just for science...
phoenix down :saddowns:
Long live Phoenix!
Well, that's the end of that.
Now we need a new lander.
phoenix down :saddowns:
:( This is bad news indeed.

spirit is dead too
Ironically, Phoenix died by ice. Literally frozen in it's tracks by an extremely harsh martian arctic winter. And all of it's systems were permanently damaged.

I blame him
It would be awesome if it suddenly started to send back signals again when the winter is over :3: (A man can dream :frown:)
