Rockstar isn't really damaging their public image at all. It's all Take-Two from the looks of it. If I remember correctly, GTA-MP was something that the actual developers approved of, it was just Take-Two that decided to be a bunch of cunts.

It'd be nice if we could get some mini-heists, some little 20-minute things we can play which would net us like half a million or something. Heists have been out for what, the good part of a year now? I'm sure people would still play them for fun and cash even if they had other ways to make big bucks.

Only solution i found was to play in private lobbies with friends. As far as i read a long time ago was that the entire multiplayer system was peer2peer based and the game rarely checks the client for hooks.
