This one is slowed from the origonal but you get the same idea, it's another example of good drums

bees inside is fucking incredible, holy shit. why the fuck didn't i hear about them sooner? haha i probably did but forgot.
trs-80 was exactly what i was looking for though, thanks
deepchild is pretty good, maybe Kangding Ray as well..
im looking for more hip hop oriented bands instead of techno oriented bands.... in fact i can go for anything in this genre that doesn't use tribal or heavy techno influences. like Autechre, Boards of Canada, Luke Vibert, Squarepusher and Trs-80
less gay club and synth, more sampling
actually autechre isn't at all what im looking for.
any more drum and bass sounding stuff like luke or square pusher or more sample heavy stuff like trs-80 or amon tobin out there?
so far amon tobin is the only artist i've heard who makes his songs with consistency. like nightlife, perfect example, he kept that eerie oldies shit persistent throughout the entire song even during the fast parts, whereas plug or squarepusher would rid of that element and put in something else in.

see what i mean? if plug kept that funky bassline and instrumentals going throughout the whole song cheesy would have been so much better. instead he replaces it with some weirdassed highpitched sound i dunno where he got.
amon can't be the only artist out there who makes music like that.
more examples

like he starts off with a sample of some other song or a collage of samples which sound like some other song which he distorts, tweaks and fucks with and eventually introduces a fast signature portion that is completely influenced by whatever he started off with. making a fusion of sorts instead of keeping them separate or completely dropping what he opens with. so each song's fast danceable part sound different from the last one. keeping the song uniform and seamless instead of some distorted jazz with some generic drum and bass he makes it into a sort of distorted jazz drum and bass but he does that with every sound/genre he touches upon.
whatever he does i want more of it.

i'm just looking for some exotic innovative drum and bass/idm like amon tobin
