Good to see this back.
Welcome back DMT, it's been a long time.
Not long enough.
oh hai dmt.
How the fuck did this get cleared? If this will actually stick around, then for god's sake don't ruin it like last time. You guys were getting better but there was still a fuckton of shit posting and dumb posts like "rrerr" "dragons r cool" which contributed nothing to thread. At least try guys. But i guess it's good to be back?
[QUOTE=ProgramFiles;41012436]Not long enough.[/QUOTE] Classic PF.
Regardless, good luck General Discussion lurkers, you'll need it after clicking this thread. I did really miss freaking out those who dared to click on this thread expecting innocence.

Back in v.1 there was IMG tag making every click a diceroll between cute/cool dragon and a deviant art tier 3-dick herm radioactive wolf/dragon hybrid drawing. And the reactions was what made this thread funny.
hi you people i look forward to meeting you
aaw yeah
Nice to see a return.

If it wasn't for you guys discussing how a dragon could melt gold with its cum, I would have never known that aqua regia can dissolve gold.
You butts actually made it again woo
[QUOTE=Levithan;41012821]You butts actually made it again woo[/QUOTE] Didn't you make a poll in the steam group about remaking it ages ago?

So this is the DMT i heard about
Guess it couldn't stay dead for too long
They just showed us what Smaug will look like in The Hobbit, as far as movie dragons go, he looks pretty well done. Looking forward to seeing how he is as a character. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/WQ4GJEw.jpg[/IMG] That grin.
[QUOTE=Roll_Program;41013169]They just showed us what Smaug will look like in The Hobbit, as far as movie dragons go, he looks pretty well done.[/QUOTE] I kind of wish I'd gotten into the whole Hobbit/Lord of the Rings thing back when it began, where should I start though?
[QUOTE=MasterFen006;41013184]I kind of wish I'd gotten into the whole Hobbit/Lord of the Rings thing back when it began, where should I start though?[/QUOTE] LOTR 1 Also wasn't the eye blue on the first movie of The Hobbit? I can't remember.

[QUOTE=MasterFen006;41013184]I kind of wish I'd gotten into the whole Hobbit/Lord of the Rings thing back when it began, where should I start though?[/QUOTE] The Fellowship of The Ring, the original trilogy. There's a bit of lore which may need to be explained to you outside of the movies, for example, I don't think they actually tell you that the elves are immortal in the movies.

Are you sure this thread is really back for good, or are they just luring everybody who posts here and banning us all en masse? A classic trap. Smaug was cool in the Hobbit books. I haven't even watched the first Hobbie movie though, so I don't want to go watching the trailer just yet. [editline]13th June 2013[/editline] [QUOTE=MasterFen006;41013330]Alrighty then, I think my father has a couple of the books as well (I'm not sure which ones, I've seen him reading the Fellowship I think) so I guess I'll ask him, if not I'll check the library.[/QUOTE] I remember trying to read Fellowship of the Ring ages ago, but I couldn't stand it very long. That was years ago when I was like 13 though, and I've just read Game of Thrones and Clash of Kings, so I'm probably a lot more patient a reader than I was back then.
Oh it's this thread again, I'll continue lurking I guess.

They are both independant from each other, so you can choose which one you want to read first without being confused lorewise. There's a couple of reference here and there but it should not cause trouble at all. The Hobbit movie makes way more connections to the LOTR ones due to a lot of added scene (They're making a trilogy out of a 300 pages book afterall).
