Kinda crazy how one game that people barely remember had such a horribly destructive story. This pisses me off so much because I loved 1080 and Prime Hunters, knowing that some of their devs left the industry because of this hurts.

Nintendo have always been very Japan-centric. It's the main reason why series like F-Zero and Metroid that are far more popular outside of Japan than they are in Japan are left by the wayside. And it's also the reason why they keep focussing on local wireless network stuff like streetpass, that kinda stuff works like a charm in Japan where mobiles and handhelds are extremely popular, but not so well in the western world.
