The wife of the man behind the deadly terrorist attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando was arrested today on charges stemming from the shooting that left 49 dead and dozens more injured, a law enforcement source said. FBI agents arrested Noor Salman at her home outside San Francisco on charges of obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting by providing material support, the source said. Salman is expected to make an initial appearance Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in federal court in Oakland, Calif. She is expected to be returned to Orlando to face the charges. She helped him scout out locations, so I am not surprised by this.
She helped him kill 49 people. Let her rot.
Her family is saying that because she was in special education classes as a child, she has no understanding of cause and effect and thus is innocent in all of this. Will be interesting to see how her defense plays out in court.

He knowingly used his mentally challenged wife to commit mass murder.

Special ed != mentally challenged/unable to comprehend that mass murder is wrong. "She was in special education" is a bullshit excuse.
Why did it take so long to arrest her? If I remember correctly they were looking since the start of the shooting.
I hope she gets a fair trial in a court of law! Let the judge and/or jury determine whether she is truly culpable for her crimes!
Idk why you are assuming that she's lying, we'll just have to wait and see what the court rules. I wouldn't be surprised if Mateen used a mentally disabled person, but I also wouldn't be surprised if she's lying.
I highly doubt they would bring up special education as an excuse if she was actually mentally disabled. They would just say she's mentally disabled or some subset of that.
-you know what fuck it, I don't have time to argue this shit-
