This spring, WWE 2K15, the latest edition of 2K’s venerated series of WWE video games, will make its long-awaited debut on Windows PC. Grappling gamers can expect a world-class gaming experience from the PC version of WWE 2K15, which will mirror its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One counterparts. Worried that the PC version won’t include the essential parts of your favorite WWE video game? Don’t fret — 2K took great care to ensure that the PC version of WWE 2K15 will include what made the console games so great, including the popular MyCareer and 2K Showcase modes. In addition to the full game itself, PC gamers who pick up their copy on day one can also expect immediate access to two versions of Sting and two of Hulk Hogan, each of whom would make a worthy opponent for WWE 2K15’s cover Superstar, John Cena. "It’s been such a great honor to be the cover Superstar over the past year for WWE 2K15," Cena said. "After almost 15 years here in WWE, this is the first time I’ve been featured on the cover. The game has been a huge success and the WWE Universe seems to enjoy it."
Hopefully they'll allow mod support. 2k15 has so much cut content.
Also, WHAT THE FUCK is John Cena talking about when he says "after 15 years, this is the first time I've been featured on the cover".
...huh? i don't see anyone on the cover.... i don't even like wrestling games but from what i've seen this one is really bad. seems extremely streamlined and basic compared to the others.
This game looked really bad on consoles, but hopefully some modding can improve that.
Well, R.I.P Pro Wrestling X
Well, R.I.P Pro Wrestling X
This looked like trash anyway.
All I know is VGCW chose to stay with 2K14, which makes me think the character creation sucks.
All I know is VGCW chose to stay with 2K14, which makes me think the character creation sucks.
I think it's because 2k15 doesn't have the create a story mode which is vital for VGCW's plot.
Wow, took your bloody time, didnt you?
I think it's because 2k15 doesn't have the create a story mode which is vital for VGCW's plot.
That, and you just can't make as good looking CAW's with 2k15, which was pretty disappointing. Not enough options or anything. Solid fighting system (then again, never played many WWE games), but the customisation was lacking.
I hope it will at least be somewhat moddable. This will be the first PC release for a WWE game in 14 years I believe. Damn. It's not 2k14, but I'll take what I can get.
Cool, wouldn't mind tryin' it out.
Wrestling games have become progressively shittier every year, the pinnacle being the Smackdown series on PS1 and PS2. They just need to hand over the whole WWE license to a completely new and better team. It also doesn't help much they are rushed every fucking year to release a game as fast as possible out of the window.
Yeah, fuck you. This is the first time you've been the ONLY ONE on the cover, but only three other Superstars can say the same. The Rock, CM Punk and Randy Orton. It's not like people don't know who you are, you're basically the most famous WWE superstar in the past 20 years, unfortunately.
Also technically Mr McMahon
I'm honestly hyped for this. I really thought they scrapped plans for the PC version after all of the rumors. I'm hoping it will be a good port, but either way I'm excited because it's the first WWE PC game in year.
Shit man when are they going to bring back Backyard Wrestling. [t]http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/1/0/8/52108_front.jpg[/t] [t]http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/7/7/2/59772_front.jpg[/t]
So will it be available via steam?
I'm going to assume it will. The NBA 2K series has been a regular on Steam. Also I hope they implement the Steam workshop somehow.
I grew up playing games on my PC," Cena said. "Texas Instruments, Commodore 64… I was a huge PC gamer growing up, so this is big. Not only for our fans, but for me personally as well. Fans may not know this, but I was such a huge PC gamer that I bought a living room entertainment system just to play PC games back in the day. So don’t be surprised if you flash forward 50 years and yours truly is sitting in his living room playing computer games!
John Cena master race confirmed
2K14 was way better. They really need to step up their game with this series. I can still go back and play the old games, but I find it harder and harder to play the new ones each year. [editline]21st April 2015[/editline] Also, WHAT THE FUCK is John Cena talking about when he says "after 15 years, this is the first time I've been featured on the cover". Uh [t]https://theps2vault.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/smack-down-vs-raw-20061.jpg[/t] [t]http://media.gamestats.com/gg/image/object/844/844743/SDvsRAW08.PS3.BX.CMYK.jpg[/t] [t]http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/object/143/14347659/sd_vs_raw_2010_ps2.jpg[/t] Yeah, fuck you. It's not like people don't know who you are, you're basically the most famous WWE superstar in the past 20 years, unfortunately.
The dude gets punched in the head for a living, let it be.
I can't wait, also I think Cena meant solely on the cover, not with anybody else.
Enjoy your broken, unfinished game.
Very important question. Can you create The Stig?
All I know is VGCW chose to stay with 2K14, which makes me think the character creation sucks.
It does; it's fucking atrocious.
John Cena master race confirmed
personal cena
2K15 is lacking a shitton of stuff. If you were all about the Create-a-Wrestler and making your own silly little Universe with all kinds of zany characters, titles, belts, shows and stories, you may want to skip this one. Hopefully 2K16 is better with more custom wrestler slots, and at LEAST all the customizing options that 2K14 had. I'm still running WWE '13 on PS3. I would pick up 2K14 but, I have close to 50 custom superstars and I'd have to recreate every single one.
Sucks that 2K14 wasn't the one to get a pc version.
The content is nice, but the gameplay is still the same tired garbage that relies on an awful timed button press as your sole form of defense
Isn't that pretty much what every wrestling game is?
All of Yukes ones. WWE All Stars was fucking great and I'm sad they're not taking cues from its gameplay.
WWE All Stars was a neat idea, but it wasn't executed well at all.
It's a million times more fun than every Yukes wrestling game since the ps2 games.
Honestly for the price it's going for, if you enjoy the WWE games, I'd say definitely pick up 2K14. It's actually refreshing, the roster is EXCELLENT, and you get every Wrestlemania arena from I-XXX recreated just for the game. It's one of the best wrestling games I've ever played and I've been playing them since I was 5.
Ahhh, ya sold me. Ordered 2K14 earlier today.
Soo is this game any good for people like me who haven't even played a WWE game before?
