The police said that the incident took place on October 21 when the boy took the girl to his home as his parents were away. Soon two of his friends also joined him and the trio raped the girl. They let her off after threatening to not to disclose the incident to anyone. The girl is student of a private school in Panipat.
However, her parents, resident of Shanti Nagar colony in Model town area of Panipat got suspicious and inquired her on getting late from school after which she disclosed the incident, the police said adding that the girl accompanied by her parents came to the police station to lodge a complaint on October 23.
A case of gangrape was registered against three accused identified as Rahul, resident of Shanti nagar, Pawan of Hari Bagh colony and girl's minor classmate (name withheld).
The Model town police station SHO, Deepak Kumar told TOI that two of the accused including her classmate and accused Rahul on Friday. The search was on for third accused. He informed that the girl's medical examination has confirmed sexual assault.

It gets harder every day to care when it's becoming more and more common, Because obliviously some people aren't doing the right things to help prevent this.
Of course it doesn't help when someone says. "I don't care, It happens." It only adds to the problem.
