i actually liked Driver 3 a lot, many of the hours I logged on my PS2 were either it or tony hawk's underground

I never really understood the low ratings. I guess the reviewers mostly looked at the story which was probably the worst part of the game.
I remember there was a cheat to finish the game

I spent far too long playing this game
It's got such a strange empty and glitchy atmosphere to it, but it's still quite playable.
Some of the missions where hell though, and there was no way to skip certain dialogue or scenes. Just constantly replaying the same thing until it becomes nothing more than the definition of insanity.
Sorry, but First Driver is Best Driver.

I think grand theft auto has always had vehicle physics with the use of suspension(asides from 1, 2 and London obviously) but this was the first game to use GOOD physics if I am not mistaken.

Using the term "good" lightly, I hope
This was easily my most played PS2 game. For some reason I loved it so much more than the current GTAs of that time.
I remember there was a mall you could go inside and I would shoot that up all the time.

god I loved this game when I was younger
Its bugs and quirkiness were like the elder scrolls games, they it made it more funny.

Drive threer was the shit. My dad and I used to have so much fun with this game.
I loved to free roam and make little funny video's just like these, I had some really funny ones but I'm afraid they're lost forever. . .
Oh man. I Should search for my PS2 memory card and the game and see if i still have the replays left :v: I Had so much damn fun in this game!

Uh, the story was the best part of the game, the worst part was the awful gameplay. Mostly the absolutely horrible on-foot gameplay with awkward as shit and boring gunfights that for some reason were used even more frequent than driving was.
The graphics of that game are so awkward. There are some extremely low-poly characters witha surprisingly high texture resolution. They have pretty good shader effects on the cars, but the environment is crap with 2D sprite trees. And then there's the choppy animations
