If you meant in 2:39 the dress is not exactly black, if you didn't then it's probably Yennefer. Geralt's love interest from books and the person he spent 2 games (and part of Witcher 3) looking for.

Yeah i meant the Red headed woman whom Geralt sweeps off her feet. i assumed it was Triss because of the hair colour. My mistake on the dress colour it's clearly Jade/Emerald after watching it again.

I have never played any of these games but I own the first 2, if I wanted to play this should I start with the first game?
Ben Howard's music suits this trailer nicely, game looks nice.
I'm intrigued to play one and two because of how three is shaping up. How do they both hold up today?

Its not necessary, but if you haven't read the books either you won't know the backstories behind the character Geralt already knows. If you have the time to sink I'd say do it, but if you don't like its style of combat set it to easy. If I remember correctly the second act is the detective one. Use a guide for it if you can't figure it out.

Start with the 2nd imo, or play the first on easy. With this game out in a matter of hours I'd want to get to it as soon as possible and 1 is very long just isn't anything special from a gameplay standpoint.
Maybe watch an LP of 1 and play 2 yourself?

One of the things i'm definitely looking forward to the most after having played Witcher 2 is the improved facial animations and lipsync, and just the animations in chat all together. I got a bit sick of seeing Geralt raise his arms when talking in the Witcher 2.

I think we can all agree, Bearded Geralt is definately an improvement.
so glad I spent the weekend and a few days prior to play through Witcher 2. I never had finished it when it came out, and I'm really glad I did. Steam claims 27 hours to beat it. Hopefully I'll have a better connection to the characters and story in the third.
