I have the game but its still entertaining to see his opinions about it
I played DOOM's singleplayer campaign on PS4 and it was one of the most satisfying and enjoyable gaming experiences I've had in many years. It was graphically amazing (thanks to Carmack genius and Id's amazing artists), combat was insanely satisfying and challenging, and the boss fights were pretty fun and well-done for sequences that are obviously a bit "dated" by modern standards. I heard a lot of bad reviews and I'm thoroughly convinced people are just being massive fucking babies, because DOOM was incredible.
This new Doom kind of feels like a parody of first person shooters, and I love it for that. YOU! SPACE MARINE! TAKE BIG GUN! SHOOT BAD GUYS!

It's funny and awesome cause that's what the original doom feels like to somebody like me who never experienced first person shooters until the early 00's!

What makes it even better is the part at the beginning when the Doomguy shoves away a monitor when Hayden tries to talk to him.
He literally punches away the plot. Doomguy's fed up with everyone's shit by the first minute of the game.
