Old Man With Prosthetic Leg Left In Restaurant Fire

A gas fire breaks out at a restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey and everyone evacuates the building except for the helpless elderly man with a prosthetic leg who gets left behind. Sadly, the man left behind passed away in the fire.

The final leg of his life ended in a fiery demise.
okay I just watched the video
those people are cunts for just leaving him there like that
Poor man. But I guess these kind of things happen when everyone are panicking. I mean your focus is probably on the bright fire and not on the ground.
Man, nobody even tried to help? Thats sick.

it didn't seem like the one single man you're speaking of had the man in his eyesight!
could he have heard him? if you've been close to a major fire you'll know that those fires are loud. really loud.
Old man...prosthetic leg...Turkey...restaurant...fire...there's a shish kebab joke in this somewhere.

Screaming is also loud.

I can't stand these terrible puns. You really have no leg to stand on here.
This is terrible news, makes me lose respect for democracy.

Ok. What does that have to do with an old man dying again?

What the
He should have legged it. Everyone else did.
Man gets left behind in fire: Puns, puns everywhere!
Baby gets eaten alive by dad: Puns, puns everywhere!
Girl throws puppies into a river: Death is too good for her.
We need to make more death threats people.

C'est la vie.
Animal life > Human life
That's just fucking awful.
sigh
That'll teach him to only have one leg.
Bet next time, he'll have two.
Must've cost an arm and a leg to eat there.
I personally would have picked that old man up, put him over my shoulder and just hot foot it out of there.

Agreed. That would be a terrible way to die. You would be helpless, alone, and forced to wait until the flames came and brought death.

Or pass out/die from smoke inhalation and then burn.
Whichever comes first.
My Grandad has a prosthetic leg.

Easier said than done. The guy probably weighs in excess of 250 pounds and he is a living human being, not a sack of potatoes, so not as easy to carry. Don't forget that standing up makes it harder to breath as the air is quickly filling with smoke and the intense heat of the nearby blaze physically compels you to leave immediately.
It's easy to sit here saying we'd all be a hero in that situation, but I'm willing to bet that none of the people in that restaurant were "evil". Our natural impulses, "fight of flight", can go beyond our ability to rationalize a situation.

If I was there I would drag him out by his arms.
