It's a symbol of cheap and economy while still having a pretty good list of features. Future generations will look back in awe while wondering how they created it.

I took the beauty caps off my wheels, so it looks more like a beater/sleeper now, because the wheels are dirty, and have a little bit of rust where the caps scraped paint off.

Yeah, well. The caps are nice, but only if you keep that shit super clean. I have a set of original 14" rallies on my '64 El Camino, amd it's got the same center caps as yours. The thing that sucks about those caps, my dad ran some of these centers on his truck, and someone stole them. They're getting hard to find, though, so I can see why.
