Explanation. So, I generally tend to pick up various TV shows I never bothered to follow and watch them in their entirety during the summer when I have inane amounts of free time. This summer, I've watched countless TV shows. However, my favorite thus far has been The Office (US. I know, I'm sorry my British friends). Due to this new found appreciation for Steve Carrell and the others on this show, I have taken it upon myself to create "Somehow, I Manage," a book on management that Michael Scott briefly mentions in one of the episodes. Once I have finished the entire work, along with poorly made illustrations and made-up words, I will send it to Steve Carrell and see what he thinks. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then maybe this clip will explain some things... This thread is for general feedback and updates on my progress, so that I can actually motivate myself to finish this entire thing. It won't be very long, (It's about fifteen chapters, all of which will only be a few pages long at most.) but I still feel that it's a worthwhile project and I'd love to see what Steve Carrell thinks of it, if I can ever complete it. So, I hope you enjoy. Let me know if there's anything I should add or do to make this better. Big words courtesy of Jacob x. [release]Preface: I'm the World's Best Boss[/release] Somehow, I Manage was written by me, Michael Scott. Well, with some help from a good friend of mine, Jacob x. He generously offered to assist me in creating this wonderful and ingenious book on management in the workplace, and, more importantly, me. Before we begin, I’d like to take a moment and inform you that I am the world’s best boss. By reading this book, you too will become one of the best. But not the best, because, obviously, that role is reserved for me. It says so in the Guinness Book of World Records, after all. But don’t let my amazing repertoire and track record discourage you! With a bit of work and a lot more time spent coming up with great jokes, you can still be number two! (... Haha, number two.) --- That's all I've got for now. I just wanted to go ahead and post this up to see what people think, and to give suggestions. Also, I know I'm a terrible artist, but the crummy quality of the illustrations is part of the book. I apologize in advance for my unsteady hand. So anyway, let me know what you think.
