So i'm heading the meetup this summer, anyone is invited!
I will be in Germany from July 2 - July 16 and wanted to do something in that time frame.
Evilskydiver and I will be meeting at the Nurburgring for a few days and were going to get some track time in that timeframe.
So bring your cars n shit so I can be your co-driver or something
Rules
- Any illegal drugs or drinking, you won't be associated with us.
- Texting or on the phone while your driving, you'll be dismissed from us. If you want photos bring a friend to take them in the passanger seat or wait for us to parked. I want ZERO Wrecks, Collisions or totals.
- Don't bring your parents car, Don't bring your friends car. Bring YOUR car. We don't need to find out you got in trouble cause you were driving your parents car around foolishly or without their permission. Now if the car is under their name but it's obviously yours thats another story and it's okay.
- Expect videos of your car, photos of your car to be taken. Don't expect plate numbers to be blocked out and don't bitch about it
- DON'T BITCH IF PEOPLE JOKE AROUND ABOUT YOUR CAR OR SHIT, IN THE SAME ASPECT DON'T RAG ON SOMEONE TO MAKE FUN OF THEM OF WHAT THEY DRIVE OR HOW THEY LOOK.
Schedule
I am hoping to get this done on a weekend, at this set time, July 6th to 8th. We will meet up at noon or so and talk, from there we will get our money together and plan out track time and who gets to ride in what if you are ok with it.
Please let me know if you are wanting to show up and leave a message below
ps I stole your layout cubeman <3
I think i'll be able to do 5th of July, but i'll be at school the 3th and 4th

I'll have my 5.0 Foxbody with me. Also we might be able to shift days around to fit schedules. But only if we get a group consensus.

But first Deutschland!
So Me, BRM and Evilskydiver so far...
I hope, I wanna see what yall drive with reality resolution. And hear all the engines, the better sounding part a car on most days.
wish i could be there with my e30, but with how reliable that fucker is I don't even want to think about going that far, and also I'm probably going to girlfriend in norway around that time.
anything over 50mpg is illegal in europe otherwise i'd ship my car over

Anything OVER? As in, gets better gas millage then other cars? Are they trying to use up all the worlds crude?
Dude I drive 160+MPH on the autobahn with the polizei passing me.
This sounds like fun, but I'm not sure what I'd do for insurance. They won't cover me for use on the nurburgring :v:
Though pushing my C4 to its limits does sound like fun. It would look hilarious at least. Plus ~RHD~.
Can't do it this time around, 620 Mile drive for me. I'm in if it happens next year as I'm driving to Italy. 'Tis on the way.

I think they may have been chasing you :D
On my bucket list is to race one of my cars on the nurburgring, just for a personal best time.
I wonder how many stock accords have ever been on it?
How are you going to time your laps?
How are you going to time your laps?
A friend with a stopwatch.
A friend with a stopwatch.
or any smartphone
yeah but from which points are you going to time? You can't drive a full lap
Why not? Don't people run full laps all the time?
I just wanna drive the whole damn thing, fast as my car will allow and to say I did it.
Nope you can't drive a full lap. You have to stop on the long straight to wait in line for the next lap..
At least that's the way it is on the touristenfahrten
I don't speak any German other then "hello" and "thank you", so I looked up "touristenfahrten".
Holy shit the rules and regulations... I get why they are there, safety and to keep the track undamaged for races.
Is there a track day kinda thing? Like where one could run max safe speed?
Otherwise fukit, Sebring Intl or Mosport park.
Or ya know, just die an old man never having known the thrill of high speed on a real track...
Ah I assumed you were planning to come to this meet and time your laps on the touristenfahrten
iirc there are no real trackdays, in the sense of free hotlapping only
The only thing that comes close is a full day of driver training etc. (expensive as hell probably)
Touristenfahrten are fun enough though, way more fun than hotlapping on a regular track

If they where, they would have beat me to death.
