the ocean is scary as fuck :ohno:
That's part of why oceans are scary as hell. One moment you are chilling, the next you have a giant shark inches from your face out of nowhere because you can't hear it coming.

Or see it in this case, the visibility there was atrocious. That's my nightmare - being trapped somewhere with basically no vision, audio cues are practically nonexistant, and shit came come at you from literally any direction.

not only that but it will fade in to your view
holy fuck
fuck the ocean
The murkiness would have turned me off from that immediately. Unless I'm mistaken, attacks occur in those conditions more often because the sharks confuse you for their prey because the profiles are obscured.
That shit is just terrifying, although this one is just a little more so

[sp]for the life of me, I cannot see the shark approaching in the video until it's too close for comfort.[/sp]
I can't imagine what's going on in their heads when this shit happens

dude, he drove a fucking spear through its brain lol, pretty sure it's the shark's.
Why don't they just kick the sharks in their dicks?
Why don't they just kick the sharks in their dicks?
because it has TWO DICKS. natural defense, obviously
Sharks really aren't that evil, it was probably just curious and coming to say oh hi. Them being big as fuck and creepy as hell looking doesn't help. Also the whole teeth thing.

They got all them teeth and no tooth brush
this is why I nope the fuck out during water levels in video games.

A lot of sharks actually are, but bull sharks are pretty nasty and probably shouldn't ever be trusted.
I absolutely adore sharks and I think they are absolute babs, but I'm not gonna pretend I wouldn't be scared as hell if I found myself within proximity of a great white/bull/tiger shark since these dudes are the most likely to attack you. It also doesn't help they tend "investigate" stuff by biting so, y'know, curiosity killed the cat :v:
The sharks didn't even look like they were interested in him.
Isn't it a myth that sharks attack people that often? I always heard that they generally avoid humans.
fuck the ocean
We're trying as hard as we can!
Looked like a juvenile judging by its size and it looking like it's not in more open water.
Isn't the ocean just relaxing? Being under the surface is an experience.

Sharks are statistically harmless to humans. Not to mention you have to go into their territory in order to be bitten by one. Be more afraid of dogs, deer, and mosquitoes. Each kills a lot more than sharks annually.

I mean, sharks are obviously potentially dangerous, but they're not like a video game enemy that's gonna seek you out and eat you. It's just a big predatory fish that can bite you. Doesn't mean it's always gonna.
