Goooood evening, good evening, good evening and welcome to QI. The quiz show where the answers are more exciting than the questions, but the questions are completely impossible.
It's the quiz show that sits inside reading about the average length of the blue whale's penis while all the other quiz shows are playing outside, speaking about which local celebrity displayed their genitalia at which restaurant.
Each contestant is awarded points for being interesting, and penalized thoroughly if they reply with a common misconception or a predictable comical retort.

Stephen Fry - The most Interesting of Interesting People. A Cambridge-educated handsome rogue who is as handsome, as he is rogue. He is the permanent presenter of our precious popular show, penalizing predictability and petty misconceptions. He is the most intelligent man known to man, according to him, and he's the most intelligent man so he should know. Some say there are even cleverer people whispering clever things in his ear, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Alan Davies - Found in a basket in Belgium at age 11, Stephen Fry raised him as his own. He's fond of the world and all its intricacies, as long as those intricacies can be summarized with one word. His clever jokes, youthful antics and hidden genius have secured him a permanent seat on the panel.

Jo Brand (27 shows) - A wise wewe who woos the audience with her whimsical display of a whopping heap of medical knowledge. She used to be a cynical nurse, now she puts both those qualities to use as she makes cynical comments on television about her husband and helps him get over it afterwards.

Sean Lock (27 shows) - A bespectacled demon who visits the show regularly, his love for cynicism is matched only by his hatred for children. He used to be an innocent lepidopterist as a boy, but there was something about gassing, drying out, and collecting butterfly corpses that made him turn evil. Now he spends his time being funny on television and making the world just a bit darker with every laugh.

Phil Jupitus (26 shows) - A gentlemanly gentleman, he is the king of non-sequitur jokes and at the forefront of questioning the show's format and Stephen's upbringing. He's frequently flabbergasted on the show, as he's told the Earth has two moons, the sun doesn't set when you see the sun set, and in the odd-one-out round, none of them is the odd one out.

Bill Bailey (25 shows) - Being bald hasn't stopped his childhood dream of growing long hair, but it has stopped him from not damaging other childhoods as he does his groceries. After a long and successful career of portraying Gollum in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films he has taken to stand-up and appearing on British panel shows.

Rich Hall (24 shows) - Being born in Alexandria, Virginia he is the least British regular guest of QI. As a traveller from an arcane land, he delivers a fresh and magical perspective on things, resulting in surprising and funny and surprisingly funny jokes, brought with the smooth caress that is an American accent.

This place is as much a eulogy of this incredible show's incredibleness as it is a place for fellow fans to focalize and vocalize their own appreciation of it.
Feel free to discuss which guest is the best, and why it's Stephen Fry. Do you know something quite interesting? Share it here! Bonus points if it involves animal genitalia.
It's quite amusing to watch whenever I catch it :)
I think you missed this one:

For anyone outside the UK who wants to watch this wonderful show, this youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/quite1nteresting Has every episode, regular and XL in decent enough quality. Check the playlists and he's got them organized by season. He gets them up the same night they air.

I usually watch it here but yours is better, really.
Been getting into this recently. Really entertaining watch.
Yesssss, QI is master race.
QI Is probably my favourite show, and the only thing I can watch endless repeats of on Dave.

Did you know the common shrew has a penis of only 0.2 inches? And that's in its full glory.
If it comes out of the water after a swim it probably vanishes.

I love this show.
Partly because it's impossible to not love something that contains Stephen Fry. He is the most likeable man on the planet.
it's seriously impossible not to love stephen fry
I only watched the first Season but nobody has ever made me laugh continuously as much as Alan did.

You should watch the others, there's so much gold in them. If you can, avoid the Ruby Wax episode though.
My favourite contestant is probably Jo Brand.
I'm quite chuffed that they've begun airing Season I. Does anyone know what day of the week they're broadcast?
When's the new series being broadcast?
It's happening already. You can catch the XL versions of the first three episodes on the links at the top of the page.
I was literally just about to make a thread on this.
Currently working my way through the seasons, am not halfway through season C.
Love it.
"Why is it you don't see that many female comedians?"
"Is it because once you get a woman going, she just won't shut up?"
Best QI moment ever.
New episode up at both Nick's channel (in 2 videos) and quite1nteresting's one.
