I wouldn't exactly call myself a fan of his games, but this is why I have a great deal of respect for Scott and his work.
Topic of the video isn't just FNaF but also how creators in the video game industry should act, instead of acting childish (hateful at worst) towards the general public.
With that out of the way: I'm surprised that Digital Homicide still has that lawsuit still pending with Jim.

The games are more like episodic releases than separate games honestly, they're just not called that because Scott is a weird christian dad who doesn't operate like any other regular indie dev would

Pretty much.
I think Scott though realizes this and the stigma surrounding the episodic model (see: not just Half-Life 2 Episode Three but also SiN Episodes, Sonic The Hedgehog 4, etc.) and chooses not to refer to them as such for that reason.
