I knew all that pc comes first stuff was bullshit.
What is a demo?
Really though, no surprise. I can't recall the last game that had a demo before/on release. (for pc anyway)
It's not like anyone expects a PC Demo these days anyway.
why
TBH, if it's what Red Faction Guerrilla was, it probably would be hard to restrict a player to a single part. Perhaps if it's a part inside of the caves... or something, not so much as the open world-ish thing guerrilla had.
Well then, how am I supposed to judge the game? Spend $50 on it blindly?

From all those pre-rendered trailers, they obviously show what the game will look like :downs:

Wait for reviews?

You can play Guerilla, and if you like that, then you'll probably like this.
You can watch gameplay videos.
You can read reviews.
You can wait until the game gets cheaper.

Guerilla was horribly optimized for the PC. It worked alot worse than it should've.
So that means I wont buy this one.

There'll be a demo for the X360 and PS3. Maybe you should try reading this time.
Volition used to be cool. :saddowns:
(Back in 1999.)

Ever play Saints Row?
I know it's mainly a console game, but a good one at that.
hard to believe these are the same guys who made Freespace 2
oh well, a console port not getting a pc demo isn't exactly newsworthy
I think crytek said the same thing, PC comes first. Yeah right.
never mind I can try the demo on ps3 oh wait guess I won't be getting this until the sale

At least Crysis 2 had a PC demo.

Terrible comparison since Guerilla is Open World whereas Armageddon is Linear again.
They made it Linear because it meant more destruction and to them, more destruction, more fun. (Which is true since i played the Demo on Xbox 360 and it's quite fun to just muck about, rebuild then muck about again)
Played it now, its linear and in a cave, but I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the destruction. Is Guerilla any good? Because then I might get it on PC.
