New Humble Bundle that isn't totally crap: https://www.humblebundle.com/
Humble Firaxis Bundle This bundle's on Firaxis! Is it hot in here, or is it just this Firaxis bundle? Whatever it is, with Civ V, Beyond Earth, loads of XCOM, and more, we recommend getting this bundle while it's hot and fresh out of the bundle kitchen! Pay $1 or more for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Sid Meier’s Pirates!, Ace Patrol Bundle, and Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete. Pay more than the average price to also receive Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition, Sid Meier's Civilization V, Sid Meier's Starships, XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Elite Soldier Pack, XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Slingshot Pack, XCOM: Enemy Within, and 10% off one month of Humble Monthly. Pay $15 or more for all of that plus Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth, Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Exoplanets Map Pack, and a coupon for 33% off Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide DLC in the Humble Store.
Beat-the-Average Tier worth it for Enemy Within Expansion alone, imo. WARNING: The games are bundled as one steam key per tier. So all the games at $1 tier are bundled as one key; beat the average as another key, etc.
The only game missing for me is Beyond Earth, otherwise I own them all already Bummer
Looks like more games are coming to it as well. Neat. Shame I already own Civ 5. Definitely worth it for the mid price at least.
And Starships
Only game I don't own out of it is Starships.
It's not that I already have those games, but that I got them all bar 2 from previous humble bundles
Fuck, just bought it and the games are bundled as one key; so you lose games that are already in your library. [editline]19th January 2016[/editline] updated the op
That's really disappointing.
I hate that shit, seriously. It gives me literally no reason to buy this when I'm going to be losing over half the bundle with no way to redeem the other games separately. I haven't bought a bundle in months because of this shit.
I mean, for a dollar I don't mind, because it's not a lot to lose. But at the other tiers that ridiculous.
Already have Civ 5, but all the rest I'm glad to have in my Library now. And of course, there's probably gonna be more games for the Bundle, so here's to watching the inbox.
the entire point of buying a bundle is to buy it for that one game you want and throw the rest to friends like fuck having 500 games on your library that you don't even remotely want to look at
For anyone who hasn't played Firaxis games, this is a spectacular deal, even the dollar tier for XCOM is well worth it.
I dunno J!NX, it's been a long time since I tried Pirates! on GameTap, and while Beyond Earth might not have over Civ 5 Complete, or be the Alpha Centauri we've clamoured for, it's surely worth getting in a bundle. And of course, I should have gotten into XCOM long ago.
shiet I just bought the Xcom Complete pack with EU and EW like 3 days ago, damn you humble timing
It's a great deal if you don't have a lot of friaxis games; they're all solid titles. But for me who already owns half of what's offered on the bundle, I'm a bit disappointed.

I'd think with all the steam sales, everyone would have already owned Civ 5
Have waited almost an hour for my key.
Have waited almost an hour for my key.
Literally just bought it and got my keys :v:
I'd think with all the steam sales, everyone would have already owned Civ 5
Well, I've never played a Civ title in my life, despite being a lover of strategy and history alike. What kind of person does that make me?
Well, I've never played a Civ title in my life, despite being a lover of strategy and history alike. What kind of person does that make me?
Someone who is seriously missing out on a great time.
FINALLY, I'm able to buy xcom dlc without being stitched!
Someone who is seriously missing out on a great time.
Damn skippy, although Civ 5 gets a lot more when you have the main expansions of Gods & Kings and Brave New World. Also it has a few custom scenarios, but not really as many as Civ 4 with the expansions, and not as varied (I just want a Post Apocalyptic scenario like what Civ II had). Plus it doesn't have cinematics for technologies and wonders like I remember from Civilization II and Civilization: Call to Power. Y'know, that's one of the main things I'd want to see in Civ 6; more custom scenarios, and bring back the cinematics.
Someone who is seriously missing out on a great time.
Well, then. I'd get the average pack in that case, but I have no spare cash. Which is why I always end up missing on these bundles.

[editline]19th January 2016[/editline] updated the op
When did this happen? Was there an announcement at least? [editline]19th January 2016[/editline]
Most bundles don't do this.
I thought they were always like this, I've never bought one before that didn't give me a key for each individual game. I didn't even know they stopped.
When did this happen? Was there an announcement at least?
No announcement, but they've been doing it for years. As far as I can tell, it's random. Some bundles will give individual keys; others will put them in one key like this bundle.
As a rule of thumb, get Firaxis games when you can get the game and all of the major expansions for it at a reasonable price. Civilization V was not well received at first but became excellent and then superb as its expansions came out. Civilization: Beyond Earth is not an exception to this fact, since the core game was not that well distinguished from its predecessor, but became better when the new expansion (and patch) was released. Beyond Earth for $15 with all this other stuff is not a bad deal at all, however.

If someone is buying the bundle specifically for Civ V, you should really wait for a deal on the complete collection. Though the "Beat the Average" will net you tons of other awesome games, so getting Civ V here is like an extended demo.
