Seems like a great idea, since both Markiplier's audience and the Goosebumps readers are skewed to a lower age. Markiplier got big in the horror let's play scene, it makes even more sense for Jack Black to advertise to this specific audience. I think this is just a case of the advertising agency behind the goosebumps movie knowing how to get at the right audience.
