That is, better than OCR software and Google translate can. A proper translation. It looks like this: There's a lot of text on it. I've translated most of it and it's just precautions and disclaimers. Understandable, as it ejects flaming globs of napalm. There's this one bit though that says something in regards to the company that makes it: I know that much because one bit in there means "Company". Anyone able to translate this text better than Google translate?
Company diswegards any dishonor caused by usage of fwamethrowa. Onwy sowution: killa self.
This raises so many questions First and foremost, why do you have a flamethrower?
Framethrower
Rate dumb if you like flamethrowers
Second: How the fuck did you get a flamethrower?
This raises so many questions First and foremost, why do you have a flamethrower?
An old Japanese man gave it to me around 12 years ago. He claimed to used it to torch the field behind his house. When someone offers you a flamethrower, you accept it.

It's relating to company warranty, or perhaps dangers of use.
take it to ricks pawn shop and be on pawn stars! :v:
An old Japanese man gave it to me around 12 years ago. He claimed to used it to torch the field behind his house. When someone offers you a flamethrower, you accept it.
Flame on, flame off.
so, have you used it yet?
This thread is half "Why do you have this?" and half racist jokes.
If this is an actual military flamethrower, it could be quite valuable. Get it appraised.
That's Chinese, not Japanese, big difference
so, have you used it yet?
I haven't as I'm pretty sure he stopped using it for a good reason.
If this is an actual military flamethrower, it could be quite valuable. Get it appraised.
Indeed.
I demand pictures of it in use.
"in taa fu chii re zur da nu shi" is the romanji of the characters AFTER the first five characters, which are in Chinese, I'm not sure about the end characters as I think they're in Chinese as well. I'm still a beginner with Japanese so it might be wrong in places. I'm not sure what it says though, sorry. It's odd that half of it is in Chinese and half in Japanese, but, oh well. I don't know anything about flamethrowers. :v: Just posting the romanji here because it might help you. EDIT: actually I know part of my translation is wrong. D; I think the "zu" should be something else.

Actually, it won't, considering OP wanted a proper translation. Sorry, only trying to help.
That's Chinese, not Japanese, big difference
Or not, because Japanese OCR software can read it and Google Translate set to Japanese can properly decipher bits of it like the text, "Precautions" and the limited liability disclaimer. In Chinese it translates, "Precautions" as "Note the use of *symbol*" Some of it may be Chinese, but the majority of it isn't and if it is, then there's clearly not a "big difference". Regardless, I don't care what language it is. I just want to know what it says. :P Thanks tho.
An old Japanese man gave it to me around 12 years ago. He claimed to used it to torch the field behind his house. When someone offers you a flamethrower, you accept it.
Find him if he's not dead and ask him.
Oh hamst3r, you so crazy.
Got a pic of the whole thing?
I'm jealous, and sadly cannot translate it. I second the idea of complete pictures. Several minutes on google and I've figured out three things. 1. Google loves providing the same images of flamethrowers 2. Your flamethrower is not "Model SS" or "Model 95" 3. -snip- After seeing the picture, I've determined that that model is used for farming.
Line, line, curve, dot, Smiley face
Did anyone else notice the red text reading ON? I wonder how you activate it!
Go to some anime site and ask the weeaboos.
Wouldn't Japanese people hate flamethrowers?
Go to some anime site and ask the weeaboos.
That's why I'm asking here. There's a gigantic anime porn thread in one of the sub-forums. :v:
Got a pic of the whole thing?
edit: and here's the only picture I've found online of a similar style one:
