Two members of a gun gang have been jailed for life for the murder of an innocent 16-year-old girl shot dead when a tit-for-tat revenge hit went wrong.
Agnes Sina-Inakoju, who hoped to go to Oxford University, was blasted in the neck as she went to buy pizza at a takeaway shop in east London last year.
Leon Dunkley, a senior member of the London Fields gang, fired a submachine gun through the window of Hoxton Chicken and Pizza Shop.
He and fellow gang member Mohammed Smoured, both wearing hoodies, cycled up to the shop before Dunkley, without looking who he was aiming at, pulled out his weapon and fired.
Dunkley, 22, and look-out Smoured, 21, both of Hackney, east London, have each been convicted of murder by a 10-1 majority at the Old Bailey. They have both been jailed for life and told they must serve at least 32 years each behind bars.
Judge Peter Beaumont, the Recorder of London, said: "Gun violence with loaded weapons that imperils innocent people on the streets of London has to be stopped."
The shooting was captured on shocking CCTV footage. It was the culmination of a violent and escalating feud between groups of youths from different parts of Hackney.
Serves them right. :colbert:
(I mean the gang members, not the innocent people, in case you read that wrong.)
Good.
Its about time they start making examples out of these idiots. 32 years in the can is a nice long time to reflect on what you've done, and enough to make people realise it isnt worth losing over half your life because of gang crime.
Stricter punishments on murder? Excellent.
or get shanked for killing an innocent 16 year old girl
Fucking dicks, what drives them to kill a random person? Good to hear their lives are gonna get fucked in return.
I was gonna suggest they get shot in return but I know someone will get butthurt.
oh come on
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
Eat dick you bastards

I hate gangs of all kinds. It's primitive and immature, and the whole fad that goes along with it is fucking childish.

Yeah, they could like, ban guns or something!

Canadian gangs hang shoes on power lines to signify their dominance in an area. It's sad, but it's true. They do tags too, but mostly on train carts.

Think of all the wonderful things in life that are banned or illegal. Now tell me how many people you know still get their hands on it.
Just because it's banned doesn't mean it no longer exists. Stricter punishments are what make people more aware of the risks and less likely to get it.
is it bad that when i clicked the video, i expected to see a video of the murder?

I don't care what you do; if you participate in gang activity, you are a detriment to the rest of humanity.
Drive by shooting on a bike? Well at least they're eco-conscious.
Why can't gangstarz ever whack the intended target?
I don't care what you do, if you participate in gang activity, you are a detriment to the rest of humanity.
So no matter how harmless your actions, you're a criminal? I don't care about gangs unless they go around shooting people. But if they just sit at home and get high all day and tag all night, i'm okay with that.

Yeah, and I wish I was in one of those cars, too. I would have shamelessly flattened him on the pavement.

It's a waste of life, plain and simple.

So? Let them waste their lives. They aren't hurting anybody but themselves.
Why can't gangstarz ever whack the intended target?
Because unlike the Mob which had its own twisted version of Honor, the gangs of today don't care about innocent bystanders because they use fear to shut everyone up. They're not subtle about it either.

I think most of us would prefer more people contribute to society than to be a burden. I don't see what's so difficult to understand about that.

There have always been people like that. Ever since the first towns were built there have always been people of burden.
Besides, it doesn't help that everyone is losing work rather than getting it. I've been looking for work for months now. Nothing. Not a peep. Am I burden on society? No, I'm a victim of a government who has made poor decisions.

But they could hit the broadside of a barn. They're style was kill the intended targets and scare or remove witnesses. Best case scenario is actually no witnesses.
Gang style today is more gorilla, where they will pull their guns out in an ambush and hit everything but the the target most of the time.

When did I ever say anything about the unemployed? Your point is irrelevant.
When did I ever say anything about the unemployed? Your point is irrelevant.
When you said they were a burden on society I assumed you meant it's because they have no jobs and don't contribute in any way. Now I'm just 100% confused. How are they a burden on society?

They don't benefit anyone apart from weapons dealers.

Was that not clear? Is that what everyones talking about? I already said that ^ meaning violent gangs are unacceptable, non-violent gangs however I can tolerate. Read people.

Okay, allow me to clarify. The fact that they are unemployed does make them a burden, but I'm not saying the unemployed are all a burden. It's because people like this do not pay taxes, and deface public property. They also drag down the property value in communities with their vandalism and delinquent activity, and generally decrease the quality of living. I have no problem with unemployed individuals; only the one's who leech off of the rest of us to sit around getting high and vandalizing our communities.
