An American Airlines pilot was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger refused to stop singing Whitney Houston's hit song I Will Always Love You. The solo performance began shortly into the flight from Los Angeles to New York and her crooning quickly became too much for passengers and staff on the domestic flight last Thursday. The pilot was forced to change course halfway through the six hour flight and make an unscheduled stop at Kansas City so officers could escort the woman from the plane. Reality: Always stranger than fiction.
she's not even good at singing i understand why they did this
That's not even a good song.
They should've kicked her off the plane while it was flying :(
No pictures! Photos are not allowed on the airplane! Typical American behavior of trying to prevent anyone from documenting what happened, in case of..you know, the cops have to bash in her face in case she doesn't shut up or something.
When I read the title, I thought they actually pushed her out of the emergency door 20 thousand feet in the air.
Way to Group in a whole country over one person's actions.
don't you know america is a POLICE STATE ECONOMY that is threatening the whole world with its INDUSTRIAL MILITARY COMPLEXITIES and all the CORPORATE WELFARE and EXTRATAXONOMIC SURVEILLANCE TACTICS?
don't you know america is a POLICE STATE ECONOMY
Yeah when you have a privatized prison system and the highest incarceration rate in the world that's pretty accurate.
that is threatening the whole world with its INDUSTRIAL MILITARY COMPLEXITIES
Yeah we kinda are, with a 1 trillion dollars in defense contracts in 2013 and multiple wars.
and all the CORPORATE WELFARE
Haven't we fucked the world economy with how much corporate welfare and deregulation we've done?
and EXTRATAXONOMIC SURVEILLANCE TACTICS?
What is drones and warrant-less wiretapping? I see what you were trying to do but you chose things that are all widely accepted as true.
I feel there should be an emergency law where a disruptive passenger can be locked in the toilet at the rear of the plane.

Whenever I see "kicked off a plane" my first though is them like, throwing someone out the door of the plane and just letting them drop through the air
Can't be a somebody in the USA anymore. EDIT: Air Travel use to be an adventure back in the day. Even when a plane's engine went out, the passengers would have a picnic as the pilot/engineers fixed it.
American air travel seems to be the most awful thing in existance, also, i wanted to go to America. But i've have to apply for a Visa, pay a fee, go on a multiple hour long interview, and have everything exactly sorted out. The fuck, USA? Stop flattering yourself, you aren't the bastion of western civilization you think you are.
Why does this thread, of all threads in particular, have the most people mad at America?
She sang the same song for 3 hours lol
The solo performance began shortly into the flight from Los Angeles to New York and her crooning quickly became too much for passengers and staff on the domestic flight last Thursday.
Why does this thread, of all threads in particular, have the most people mad at America?
Ignorance breeds hate, the less you know about a certain culture, community, country, etc, the easier it is to hate and justify hate because they're not like you so they must all be terrible.
Maybe she's got extreme OCD or something :(
"no photos!!!" PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT A CRIME. People take plenty of window pictures/video all the damn time. Also, that voice is worthy of the kicking.

You have to think, at some point, this action should have become a disturbing the peace charge...
Is it bad that I am thinking of the JonTron clip.
Which one?

They disallowed photography specifically for the reason of legislation posed against them in case of shit happening on a plane.
