One day, I was in class, doing something I shouldn't be doing in class. No, not that, I was sketching this

I've come up with a concept of a re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland as a Cyber-punk Gothic-style universe, with various sci-fi and modern devices acting as anachronisms for the various characters of the book (The Mad Hatter is a malfunctioning robot, etc.) I decided to draw a clean sketch of the characters when I got home:

The concept is still in it's infancy, and I plan to clean up designs of the various characters. Please leave a comment thinking why is a great/ok/meh/stupid/wtf/retarded/ridiculous idea! Thanks

And yeah, sorry for the untidy sketching
What's the dog Alice's got?

It's a mutant cat thing
for some reason this reminds me Fallout 3.
I don't like the idea. Twisting fairly tales is getting awfully old.
As drawing itself, it lacks detail.

Well, Alice in Cyberland is more of a working title. The story won't be a direct adaptation of sorts (since it'll obviously be the same thing with a new coat shine), but will carry similar themes and some well known plot points from the original. Rather than making it constantly obvious, I'll try to give the story a different side.
Just think for example, the Lion King being a loose adaptation of Hamlet and Richard III.

Alice in Wonderland isn't a fairy tale. It's a nonsense story.
Alice in Wonderland isn't a fairy tale. It's a nonsense story.
What's the difference?
Nonsense verse is a form of light, often rhythmical verse, usually for children, depicting peculiar characters in amusing and fantastical situations. It is whimsical and humorous in tone and tends to employ fanciful phrases and meaningless made-up words.

Fairy tale is an English language term for a type of short narrative corresponding to the French phrase conte de fée, the German term Märchen, the Italian fiaba, the Polish baśń or the Swedish saga. Only a small number of the stories thus designated explicitly refer to fairies. Nonetheless, the stories may be distinguished from other folk narratives such as legends and traditions (which generally involve belief in the veracity of the events described) and explicitly moral tales, including beast fables. Fairy tales typically feature such folkloric characters as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, giants or gnomes, and usually magic or enchantments. Often the story will involve a far-fetched sequence of events.
Kind of neat.
Has potential, kinda cool.
I like the idea of the twins being a conjoined mutant being. Funny really. I'd like to see an expansion of that in a more detailed drawing.
Off with their motherboards!

I love this, good job! It looks amazing.
Looks like you were in a psychology class. :v:
The Mad Hatter is brilliant.
I like it, the concept is similar to my idea for my Graphics project. We need to make characters for a film as part of the task. So far I have a manga hair styled little shit-bag called Jack and some robot goblin thing.

A new piece that I finished earlier today, but didn't post because I was banned :v:
Now everybody knows your name.

No they don't
Nice ideas
If a movie of this came out, I would watch it. It sounds like a really good 'spoof' of Alice in wonderland. Well not a spoof like a comedy
Really nice concepts
