This is the main character of the show, a blacklisted spy that worked for the government. Now he is always looking for answers as to who burned him and why. He deals with "clients" in his spare time, that have problems with things that can't be solved by just calling the police.

Sam is an old friend of Michael who used to tip off the FBI about Michaels where abouts and actions. Now Sam is a strict partner to Michael and Fiona.

This of course is Michaels mother who is a great character. She can set the mood for any scene and having her do a job with Michael is really enjoyable. She is always trying to figure out why her son does what he does, but never truly understands.

Michaels brother, who is slightly shady. He tends to get himself in a great deal of trouble.

I love this series. Lots of people don't like it because it can be cheesy, but it's supposed to be and I think it does a good job of being serious when it really needs to.
I love the narration and I have gone as far as to say that Burn Notice is my favourite TV-show of all time. It has that perfect mix of comedy, action and drama.

Pretty much exactly what I came in here to say. I don't believe half of the crap they say, but some of it is actually true...(Phonebooks in car panels = bullet resistant)
Burn notice is a truly awesome show.
This show is [i]the[/i] shit, dog. I stopped watching the newest season since I plan to get the DVD and watch the entire season in one or two days.
I watched the first season if this, it's alright, but it's so cheesy. It's not even the charming idiosyncrasies of cheese that firefly had, it's just full on, embarrassed to watch it when other people are in the room cheese.
Bruce Campbell is pretty cool despite all this, although fiona has a weird face.

They are true but Jeffrey mentioned in an interview they usually leave some ingredients/parts out so the show doesn't go from Action/Comedy/Drama to "How to be a Terrorist" or something.

Holy crap just watched the season finale. It was awesome.
They stopped the series after the episode where Michael crashes the car and the mysterious figure picks up the suitcase in Australia. So annoying.
I disliked the end of the finale, it felt a little anti-climatic. However the events leading up to the end were great.
