I work 50 hours a week. So, no, there's not going to be new content every week. I don't have time. So instead of releasing nothing, I will be releasing these awesome videos that have NEVER been uploaded on my channel. And if this is the kind of the reception they get, I will never make new content again. What's the point? This channel takes an insane amount of work, makes shit in ad revenue, and gets no fucking support. Seriously? Downvoting a great video, out of spite? I don't need this. I don't have a million subscribers. Making YouTube videos is not my job.•
A little harsh, but I have to agree with him. Constantly traveling for new videos sounds like an insane amount of work.
Anyone who expects anything good out of YouTube comments after 2009 hasn't been using YouTube since 2009.
i always just wait for my subs to upload on their own time. I really don't give a fuck if they release a weekly video or not, in fact i usually like it when they don't because while the episodes/videos come out infrequently or slowly, they're usually longer and more well made.
I rated OP funny before reading the quotes, cause the vid was funny but now I feel like an asshole :c
"I've had thirty six girlfriends" made me chuckle :v: [editline]8th January 2014[/editline]
i always just wait for my subs to upload on their own time. I've never known somebody who sits at their desk waiting for a four-to-fifteen minute video like a crack-addled baby waiting for its next spoonful of food, and yet youtube tells me that they exist
Anyone who expects anything good out of YouTube comments after 2009 hasn't been using YouTube since 2009.
Still, look at it from his perspective: He's uploading great videos that are technically "new" considering their original upload has been lost to the internet, but they're on the verge of being almost completely rated negative just because it says "classic" on them. It's extremely unfair to his reputation.
I don't find his stuff funny but for some reason everyone here seems to love it Calling your own video "great" is a bit big headed
Calling your own video "great" is a bit big headed
not really, it shows he put work into them and isn't releasing some half-assed video just to get views. like, if someone called their content "shitty" then it'd be obvious that they weren't putting any effort into them and didn't like them at all. whereas saying they're great means that he likes the stuff he's made, he's proud of them, and is doing it because he enjoys doing it.
People that get 1 million subscribers doing vlogs and shit like that don't deserve the attention half the time. BadgeofShame definitely deserves some more attention, and definitely needs to profit more from his videos.
Someone in the comments just made me realize that 2007 was 7 years ago. What the hell?!

I've never known somebody who sits at their desk waiting for a four-to-fifteen minute video like a crack-addled baby waiting for its next spoonful of food, and yet youtube tells me that they exist
It's mostly because those people think that every single moderately successful youtuber is rich and doesn't work because uploading videos is somehow their job.
Actually some of the comments I've been reading really piss me off. Joe's video are constantly fun and entertaining, I've ended up laughing at every video he has posted. I can't believe people are ripping on him, all the videos he has made are original and his work. Joe does not nearly get the attention and sub's he deserves. There are people who literally ramble and steal content and get more subs

Not only were people constantly bitching about "Where's Skyrim???", but he actually had a dude tweet him a picture of his Steam profile, and his recently played games and going "Where's Skyrim", heavily implying that he's been watching Dave's Steam profile for when he's recording. Aside from that very creepy episode, he keeps having to remind people that he's in college, and their free entertainment is not his top priority. I don't get why people would harass the people they're fans of, but that's the internet for you.

To be honest i can't stand this guy anyway treats some people like shit in the past just to seem funny and sometimes his jokes seem quite strained such as slapping himself in the face
