I needed to make a video introducing my team for FIRST(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). It's FRC, or FIRST Robotics Competition.

Hey a hot girl on a robotics team, don't have any of those here.

You sexist fuck.
I was once a part of a FIRST Robotics team. At first it was fun, but it quickly deteriorated when the team leader decided that I was dead weight and should be cut. The team also expected me to know how to use lathes and heavy machinery, and know extensive use of C++ to program the robots from the get-go. The mood increased dramatically when that leader left for college, and utilizing the team's Inventor and 3DS Max licenses, I taught myself 3D modeling. We received a few new Mentors, especially one that was the IT leader at a local business. He had no way of effective communication with the students, though, and forced us to use Google Docs to collaborate and went into hour-long lectures about using XML documents and their merits in the workplace. It got so tiring that I just left one day and never returned. I later received news that several valued subteam leaders had ragequit the team due to the lack of cooperation and drama. Most of my friends that were a part of that team left, but I think that a couple may still go. I don't know what happened to it since then.
There were some good parts though. It was there that I learned how to build a computer, our FRC robot managed to beat our rivals at the regionals and we went to Atlanta, and we unexpectedly won first place in the FTC world competition in Atlanta despite our driver being horribly ill and operating badly. And some of the older, more eccentric mentors would bring in homemade Tesla coils to play around with while we watched. And the bathroom was painted with radioactive paint. One of the eccentric, old mentors once showed up with a radioactive isotope flowing through his bloodstream, and he set off the Geiger counters whenever one was brought to him.
The one thing I do miss though, is the regional competitions and the chaos of the entire event. I envy you for still being able to attend them.
That song sounds like CRAP in the beginning.
Girl has the most annoying voice ever.
I want to kick her in the face.
Kick her apart.

Oh god, dude, I just got back from pittsburgh. We were DESTROYED. Our arm to climb up didn't work, our kicker broke and our cRIO kept frying.
Oh, and team 1114 was GODLY. It's so annoying!
Oh well, my teammates were awesome and I met an awesome guy who's an indie dev. I'm mapping for his game now.

Also, for the video: The reason you see WMM fonts in the beginning of some clips is because I never received any clips of the '09 competition PRIOR TO THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT. I used after effects before, but I only had an Asus EEE to mash the clips together...sigh
