SAN FRANCISCO--A group of computer hackers on Sunday posted a document it claimed contains usernames and passwords for an Apple Inc. server, the latest in a string of brazen attacks that have compromised government and corporate websites around the world.
"AntiSec," a hacking campaign that includes hackers from both the online vigilante group Anonymous and hackers from the now-defunct Lulz Security, posted a document containing a link to a supposed Apple server along with a list of 26 administrative usernames and passwords. AntiSec is Internet shorthand for "anti-security."
The hackers said in a statement posted to Twitter that they had accessed Apple's systems due to a security flaw used in software used by the Cupertino, Calif.-based gadget maker and other companies. "But don't worry," the hackers said, "we are busy elsewhere."
A spokesman for Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
The posted information comes as part of a two-month campaign of digital heists targeting corporations including Sony Corp. and AT&T Inc., as well as government agencies such as the U.S. Senate, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

At this point I'm just wondering who's next. And what our stupid politicians will come up with to make the internet shitty for everyone.

You just gave them the best idea ever
AntiSec needs to stop, they need to stop RIGHT NOW.
Yes Anti-sec, security isn't up to par these days, WE GET IT!
Lets see... if the last string of attacks caused new bills to be introduced... what will THIS string of attacks do? >:|
...While I love that its Apple, they're still dicks.
Yes Anti-sec, security isn't up to par these days, WE GET IT!
As if they actually gave too shits about security, and aren't just using it to rationalize their antisocial behavior.
People will not be mad at the hackers because everyone here blindly hates Apple, right?
Why can't they just stop?
AntiSec is Internet shorthand for "anti-security."
"Internet shorthand"? Man, these guys.
While it is Apple, they still aren't making better for regular internet users like us. This'll just make it easier for politicians to try to control the internet with their bullshit laws.

The price for Macs and their software seem a bit bullshit. However, Sony Vegas is about $600 and Final Cut Pro is $300.
i'm getting tired of these motherfucking dick stroking hackers
I think it's funny these groups do this in name of getting companies and consumers to realize that security isn't as tight as they believe, when really all this shit is going to do is light a fire under the wrinkled assess of politicians who know jackshit about what's going on and start passing restrictive law after law in the name of public safety.
There really needs to be a separate law making branch solely for dealing with technological shit, with some kind of age limit or at least a yearly test and requirement of understanding the actual issues.

Yeah keeping kids away from the Internet will really help humans to advance.

I hate Apple as much as the next guy, but I still think these hackings are stupid.

Can you name anything besides the Samsung lawsuit?
Because companies sue each other all the time.

I know people hate them for legit reasons, I'm talking about the many people on FP who just hate Apple for no real reason, and hate Mac users for no reason too.

How about even making the HDD connector in their desktops proprietary?

This is what I was looking for.
This right here is a valid reason to dislike a company.
I also completely agree that this is a bastard move on their part.
