Well, that did it. I bought this. Downloading now. I'll warn if it's shitty.
Good luck getting Madagas- oh wait.
Conclusion; it is awesome, but heavily flawed in some ways. Technology is handled terribly. It only has 4 missions, one of which is a tutorial, but they're all hard as balls so that's ok. Couldn't manage the 2nd one. As I hit the time limit, with the global temperature just under the mission limit, there was a massive nuclear war.
Basically it's going to undergo some hefty patching, but unlike magicka it runs fine and doesn't crash.
Trouser, we have to play magicka sometime.
I tried playing this but this game is sadly, not my type.
Second mission.
Ees not possible!
It usually goes well for me until the economy collapses. Gotta get more nations away from commerce and back onto farming and industry before commerce gets too big and collapses. Need eco propaganda too, otherwise people are too consumerist and it just gets worse. Although if the economy does fall in, counter-propaganda can help get the economy moving again.
I beat the second mission on my first try without saving or loading. :smug:
What approach did you use?

I don't have much advice other than the obvious that Global Warming is the most important thing to take care of first since it causes all sorts of disasters after. I only used North America, China, Europe (HQ Location), and the Middle East (which was replaced at around 2070 when I couldn't take care of them due to lack of funds. Then I went to Oceania which somehow wasn't having massive wars, famine, wildfires and stuff). I'd like to give more advice, but I haven't tried mission 3, and only played Fuel Crisis once so I'm not very experienced.
