This looks awesome.
Shit, I remember how huge a timesink Sims on the Gamecube was.
Well, time to preorder this shit.
I really wish they'd make the expansions a reasonable price, and the performance issues. Those are my main gripes with The Sims. Otherwise, here's hoping.
holy shit definitely preordering

this game is probably going to run a lot better than the sims 3 tbh they said they were trying to make it accessible to everyone
Appearently theyre making The Sims 4 compatible with everything from MLG PCs to your grandmother's potatoe. Now if only they'd started with all the previous expansions as part of the base game and add new things. Or if they made every job not a rabbit hole. I'd actually pay money for new expansions if they added like two or three new non-rabbit hole jobs per expansion. Professor job with University anyone?
Create-A-Style isn't gonna be in the game?
What the fuck

That was like the best thing about Sims 3
Holy shit that actually looks awesome.
pls have multiplayer
How would that work? The best thing I can currently envision is being able to visit each other's Sims or being able to import their houses into your neighborhood but besides that, not much.

I remember hearing that they're not going to fight against mods though.
and it actually worked, was hella fun
they even had a city that had free will enabled and you could control multiple sims at once. Shit was a blast.
pls have multiplayer
Realtalk, if done right, a new multiplayer sims would be the shit!
Just not multiplayer only.

Holy crap, I legitimately forgot that existed.
Holy crap, I legitimately forgot that existed.
So did EAxis, to the point where Nancy Whateverhernamewas outright denied it even existed during it's last year :v:
That build made almost convinced me, but considering it's EA and maxis, i'll hold off until later...
pls have multiplayer
multiplayer has been confirmed. no details given yet but sims 4 was originally planned as a fully online game where you always needed to be online and you could go to parties with your friends and such. it got cancelled after simcitys failure. they said that sims 4 will have online features but you can always play it without connection.
as for the sims online, it's being recreated by the community. you can help them here
Hm, I want to see what they do with this in terms of DLC...
If it's going to be outlandish, like £40 for content packs, after already having paid £70 for the base game, then fuck that shit.
They didn't confirm multiplayer, but they confirmed some online gameplay features. Until they provide more details, I'm just going to assume they mean something like the stuff they have in Sims 3 (IE: Facebook integration)
As for the game being planned as online prior? In fairly certain that's not true.
That looks so modular it's amazing. Should massively simplify making good houses.
I hope that's not a final UI though. It looks a bit too clean and clinical like Simcity.
Did noone here play The Sims 2 local multiplayer on the Xbox? It sucked because you had to be on the same lot but that was SO fun. Virtual roommates with a buddy!

I had it for gamecube. Me and my friends used to play the shit out of it.
I so want to play sims 1 again. plz digital download
I don't get why they removed the direct control from The Sims 2 console editions. It had an option to switch back to the classic click and do things that the Sims is known for (whatever you call it). I enjoyed directly controlling my characters.
This new build mode and create-a-sim thing look good though. Looking forward to it.

I want another IKEA expansion, damn it.
