Any thoughts or suggestions?

Look at him go!
hard for me to rate since ive seen an epic animation called tetris'd a while ago, anyways your stick is rather wiggly, a good thing is that there was little to none resizing wich is what i hate the most in stickfigure animation.
over all good first serious animation, if youre on newgrounds.com tell me your user, id love to see you evolve :Applause:
oh next time, make the graphics of the game, a bit more "pixely" you can download a pixel tool for flash on anipedia, also what Flash version do you use? i use Flash 8, my all time favorite :3:

Thanks man, useful comments, I did want the whole thing to be more pixelated but I couldn't get it to work without losing the resolution, I'll have a look at this pixely tool though.
I use Flash CS3 by the way
Thanks

You do know that every block you put down in tetris you get a few points, right?

there IS already :D link to the user who has made three long movies with story about a stickfigure in a tetris world: http://cobra0528.newgrounds.com/flash/
and here is a link to the game http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/514128
It isn't very smooth. Rather large lack of weight being conveyed.

What do you mean by that?
I think it was amazing. How do you get your stickman so smooth?
What do you mean by that?
he means it seemed you carachter was super strong, or that the block were very light

There is a great amount of jerkiness to it. The animation does not flow that well as in the motion does not flow well. There is little sense of weight which makes it seem poorly done. I suggest you pick up a book about animation if you want to get into it. If not, just look up some quick tutorials about the principals of animation and try to apply them.
Here's a decent link I found about weight.

The Animator's Survival Kit. Essential reading for anyone interested in getting into animation.
Essential watching too, if you have $900 to blow on the DVDs. :v:
I didn't know there was a DVD series for it. I read the book. Very helpful although I haven't done much animation lately.

Walking animation could use a bit of work, just looks like his legs are moving randomly while he shifts forward
That was pretty good!

lol, true
It's hypnotizing, pretty good for a first. The stick man isn't fluid, he only does one movement at a time which makes him look like a robot.
I was expecting choppy, badly drawn and totally random stick men. was pleasently suprised.
