They do, but more often than not they don't get video games and such. That's reserved for multimedia franchise lines like Chima or Ninjago.

Yeah, but you can actually play with the toys you get, instead of them being little statues.
I'm torn up though, do I buy the overpriced Dimensions sets for Doctor Who or Portal, or do I wait and hope they release actual sets of them, which will be cheaper since they won't have the Dimensions gimmik.

They haven't actually confirmed any Portal sets yet, but a Doctor Who one is on the way through the Ideas line. Just get the Portal pack and buy the Who set in Fall.
So buying this, i hope they keep adding more and more franchises to it.

This is basically them combining all their games and products, then mashing them together under a Doctor Who theme.

How the fuck will this work? How many interweaving stories will they be, and can you, for instance, have one of the Ghostbusters instead of Batman?
