WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions refused on Wednesday to answer lawmakers’ questions about his discussions with President Donald Trump on Russia and denied lying to Congress about his own contacts with Russians during the 2016 election campaign. In often testy exchanges with Senate Democrats, Sessions denied having misled them when he said during his Senate confirmation hearing earlier this year that he had not met with Russian officials during the presidential campaign. “I conducted no improper discussions with Russians at any time regarding the campaign,” Sessions told a Senate Judiciary Committee oversight hearing. Sessions was forced to recuse himself from investigations into Russian interference in the election and possible collusion by Trump campaign aides after it was revealed in March that he met with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak at least twice in 2016. The Washington Post reported in July that U.S. intelligence agencies picked up intercepts in which Kislyak told the Kremlin he had held substantive discussions with Sessions about Trump’s positions on U.S.-Russia relations.
Reuters.
"I'm guilty as fuck and want to make it as obvious as possible."
I loved the part where Sessions tried to call up executive privilege again during the hearing today and the speaking Senator tore him a new asshole, quoting the law that says he can't invoke executive privilege. He also can't slip through by saying that the president "might" want to invoke it, and was called out on the president NOT calling executive privilege on the last hearing. "How long is it gonna take for the president to decide if he wants to use executive privilege. It's been 6 months, Mr. Sessions." He was uncomfortable as fuck after that. Then his answers became a lot more reluctant, with a long time spent thinking how to word them. He was lying his fucking ass off and everyone knows it. They just need proof of it, so they can go in and arrest him for perjury.

Wasn't he under oath when he said "I haven't had any communications with Russians", or am I misremembering the first part? He doesn't get to change it to "I didn't discuss anything improper" and walk away.
Well this is really fucking weird but I don't know where to put it. James Comey's secret Twitter account just tweeted for the first time ever (except for a response when it was first discovered by the media). Start of Comey's Impeachment ARG??
Lone kayaker is Comey swimming up the shit river that is the current government.

Comey was articulate and answered everything, and anything he couldn't answer he said he'd answer in private. Sessions didn't answer shit. I don't know/I Don't Recall is all the guy could say. Surely someone that makes it to his position has a better memory than a fucking elderly alzheimer's patient And the whole Executive privilege thing, cracks me up honestly
