I hope Amnesia wins.
Minecraft will get it. Not because I'm a mad fan or prefer it more than the other games, but because everyone thinks Minecraft is a god tier game right now.
If Minecraft doesn't win it will be the defining news story of the century

I didn't see what was so innovative about Amnesia, it was basically Penumbra but with a 'sanity' meter.
I hope Minecraft loses.
What about super meat boy? [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
What about super meat boy?
Does that not count as indie because of XBL?
Minecraft is the only indie game since Garrys Mod which I played countless of hours with. Mount and Blade comes close. But it's not truly indie.

Amnesia should win it, but Minecraft will win.
c'mon Aion, do it for the team! (He's the designer of Neverdaunt 8-bit btw)
Hoping Minecraft doesn't win, it's frickin' overrated.
Hoping Minecraft doesn't win, it's frickin' overrated.
I wouldn't call it over-rated, but the amount of media attention it's been getting is just tiring. Pretty much everyday there is an article about it on Kotaku and various sites. It's a fun little game yeah, but it's no where near as ground breaking as everyone seems to make it out to be.
Its the only game of its kind really
lolno
SpyParty looks really awesome. I love the concept.
SpyParty looks really awesome. I fear it may suffer the same fate as the ship, which had a similar concept
I say Cortex Command
I say Cortex Command
No need, they already won the IGF Audience Award and Technical Excellence Award in 2009.
