Porn is not immoral, but piracy is, was the firm message being delivered by Adult industry star Ron Jeremy as he spoke to TG Daily in Las Vegas.
Jeremy noted that whilst the Internet was once useful, it is now damaging the industry by allowing people to host free or pirated porn on sites like YouPorn and PornTube.
“People don’t care because they say, ‘ah, well, it’s just porn,’ but piracy is piracy, whether the film is PG, R or X. We deserve respect too,” said Jeremy, clearly unhappy getting ‘screwed over’, so to speak.
“Nobody cares,” lamented Jeremy shaking his head as he decried both the sites that hosted pirated content and those who downloaded it illegally, adding “The future’s not that bright. It will get brighter eventually but we have a big problem with piracy.”
Jeremy went on to lambast internet scammers and streamers alike, singling out Nigerians and Russians as the source of most Internet related woes.
“How many people fall for that? For those letters from Nigerian banks? You have a checkingaccount? You’re rich? You’re still not safe. Someone asks you for the details you probably won’t give it to them but your grandparents, your grandparents might fall for that,” he said, adding “it’s the saddest thing I ever heard.”
“A lot of foreigners, and I won’t mention names, Russians, are coming to America and there are a lot, a lot, a lot of people who know how to use Wi-Fi, Internet, satellite to gather personal information about people and scam or steal. Russian.”
To clear up any misunderstanding, Jeremy added, “I don’t want to sound racist, because I am Russian, or at least my ancestors were Russian.”
But back then, we can only assume there was no Internet in the shtetl for great grandfather Jeremy to download pirated porn.
Curses of this modern day world, indeed.
Hehe, screwed over....
Also, it's just porn.
How many here look at porn with men in it anyway
Damn Russians, coming to America and stealing porn!
:argh:
I see no point in buying porn.
I love how the justice system doesn't care about copyright unless it's a rich company making the complaint.
I think that pirating Porn is something totally same as pirating anything else.
Of course, saying that by pirating something sold for $20 you actually steal $20 from the right owner is complete bullshit, but you are still using something you should have paid for for free.
How many here look at porn with men in it anyway
It's not porn if there isn't a man involved.
Otherwise it's just soft porn.
It's called soft porn, because it doesn't get you hard.

The company ends up $20 worse off either way.
First video games, now piracy? When the fuck did Ron Jeremy become the authority on what is and isn't moral? You're a fucking porn star, dude, you spent the better part of your life getting paid to stick your dick in random women. Shut up.
Theirs no point in buying porn, Your going to spend 10 bucks on a magazine, Fap to it once or twice then it gets old and then you got to get a new one. It's like shitty DRM.

Well it's sad to hear that you can't get an errection, but soft porn isn't because you can't get hard from it but because it's not as hard core as regulare porn.

It gets you hard if you're straight.
"Fapping to pirated porn makes you blind, says Ron Jeremy."
Ron Jeremy sure says a lot of stupid crap. Makes sense as his only qualification is having an oversized dick.
I love how the justice system doesn't care about copyright unless it's a rich company making the complaint.
That's because little companies can't afford to sue for obscene amounts.
This is an impossible battle for them to win. There will always be enough free porn on the internet whether it is meant to be free or pirated. They will have to find some other way to profit off of porn

I prefer soft porn.
I like how he also bitches about 100% free porn.
Face it Ron, you're fat and old. You can't compete either way. :smug:
Ah well, most of the women in porn videos are forced to do it against there will.
I would feel immoral if I paid for porn videos.
I see no point in buying porn.
That is so true..
Immortal for me.

But pornography companies on the US are one of the biggest company there, they just dont make any serious complains.

The porn INDUSTRY is huge, but there's no one huge looming corporation to represent them or to try and do anything about it.
Even if there were I somehow think people would have a hard time taking them seriously. I wonder why...
No Ron, just no. You're really fucking starting to annoy me.
[editline]04:00PM[/editline]
Who buys porn anyway? There are so many free porn sites.

I was going to mention something about that, but you ninja'd me. I love how the guy who's job is to stick things in other things can decide what is right and what is wrong, as if he's an expert on the subject.
I'll link to the article about his view on video games when I get out of class. The site has a few things I don't need other people glancing over my shoulder and seeing. :ohdear:
The company ends up $20 worse off either way.
If you didn't buy it in the first place, they don't get 20$, and even if you pirated it, they still don't get 20$ for their shit porn ('less it's some lesbians.)

Well no shit, why would porn be immoral.

I think the better question is why is porn piracy even considered an issue considering all the free porn out there.
